Seeing him with his son having fun with the yo-yo tricks and knowing that John is no longer around is heartwrenching for me :(

Yeah but one day when he’s feeling down, his kids going to really go through his dads videos and see all of us lifting him up over years and I just hope he knows how much of our lives we owe to his dad.

1. Stress 2. Self sabotage 3. Wrong friends 4. Not having fun while training and dieting 5. Thinking that supplements can replace effort, whether in training or dieting 6. Bad gym environment 7. Arrogance, ego (could be #1)

I'm not quite sure how arrogance can kill gains lol thinking high of yourself may be a shitty character flaw but I've never seen it cut gains like stress or depression or lack of effort lol

Honestly it kills me when I see Alexander in these videos. They look like they have such a sweet relationship, you can tell John was so damn proud of him. I really, really hope that kid is still doing yo-yo tricks and in some small way it reminds him of happy times with his dad. Love to the family.

Man working 13hr shifts I thought I didn't have enough time to hit the gym, but I pulled back to ask myself how bad do I want it? So I got off my lazy butt and get it in as soon as I get off from work. I went from 299lbs to 258lbs even though I have a long way to 180lbs, but I gotta keep pushing until I get there.
