This dude is legend. Sadly, I came across his videos and started implementing his strategies only to find out that he passed. Even though I didnt have much experience with John, he definitely touched me and strangely I feel like I lost a personal mentor. These videos are special, and I appreciate that it is active.

I think he was right about eating around training. I definitely have better workouts, straight to the end, since I've been using a carb preworkout. If it also drives in nutrients, reloads glycogen, etc., so much the better, but it's worthwhile just for the improved energy, IMO. Plus, who isn't hungry when they get home from the gym?

My very top success for fat loss arrived when I stopped to calculate my calories and start to listen my body, stop all the snacks light (i was eating when I was calculating my macros) and eating very healthy, eat just protein and vegetables in the night and never eating before 5 h between meals and that way my body was changing dramatically. I think that everybody must calculate there macro to arrive at point where you are ready to go beyond that and listen to your body. He says you what to do. Yes one day you will eat more and some days you will want to do fasting and it s completely normal because you are not a machine. Some days you must detox and some days you have a appetit. Stay away from all kind of rubbish and listen to your body. Be determinate for fat loss and be patient. You will see the results for sure !

Eating time is the 1% i disagree with John. But that's because not everybody is built the same. I experiment a lot and my best fat loss and muscle development was when I pushed my meals at least two hours away from training (before and after). It feels strong in the gyn eating right before, but the results were not as good.
