I take every word spoken by John in this video with the same value as one might put to a precious metal. I pray the day never comes when I can't look on KZbin to one of my favorite mentors in the fitness industry and there isn't a new video. Thank you to the people that still make this channel possible in his absence and the family and friends of his are always in my thoughts.

Agreed. His knowledge is invaluable, and no one explains it better. I dread the day the video’s stop. Even though we’ll always have his older videos to look back to, he’s just such a likeable guy and mentor to the entire community, and that’s what I think we’ll miss the most. RIP big fella, and much love to his friends and family.

Thanks for playing John”s videos. He is the top hypertrophy instructor. I used to listen to every Heavy Muscle Radio Show before I ever saw what Mr Meadows even looked like. His search for truth through the current scientific research was a magnet to me. Needless to say, when I stumbled across him on KZbin, I was astounded by his muscularity. If there were a most muscular award in contests, he certainly would have won every one of them. May God Bless his soul, and may his family find peace and forgiveness for the sacrifices he made in attaining greatness

Sometimes training can be confusing. It's not always just lift the weight. The way John explains technique and execution is on point and very simplified for those that want to have a better understanding. Even with his very unfortunate passing these videos will always help the bodybuilding community in bettering themselves in physique and how a man should conduct himself. Can't help but get the vibe John was an outstanding human being. What a down to earth, easy going guy who loved his art. It's refreshing to see that there are good people in this world and especially in this sport. I hope his family are doing ok 🙏

Man he's still teaching me things I had no idea I was doing wrong. I had no idea about the spongey grip for triceps. It works.
@Joncka2 жыл бұрын
I do reverse grip push-down singles, because I have a bad wrist, and my body compensates by flaring my elbow out when doing pronated extensions. Doing reverse grip makes it much easier to control the flare. But as John stated, not much weight. I've learned so much from this man, the fitness world has a void in it that can't be filled.

Can I say something weird here? I had a dream about john, we were sitting together in the cafe where I work and we were talking. He was telling me about a gift he received, a rare Japanese cube melon (it’s a watermelon grown in a box so it becomes a cube I don’t know if John actually owned one) he was saying how valuable it is and how only a special person could receive a special gift like that. He looked at me and said “Noah why do you think someone thought I would deserve a special gift like that?” I told him “it’s because everyone knows you John everyone knows respects and loves you and your work” I remember how he looked at me, I’ve never seen him disappointed in a video but when he looked at me he was truly disappointed in my answer, I didn’t understand his question even tho he expected me to. He was asking me what makes a man special and valuable but I didn’t know, I don’t know what kind of answer would make John happy. Sorry if this is a bit wtf. I’ve just been thinking about that weird dream a lot and I thought this is probably the best place to talk about it
