He was able to get plenty of views when he was alive and his channel grew A LOT in the last couple of years. He was about to collaborate with a KZbinr that has over 12 million subscribers, just collaborated with Jay Cutler, and probably would have gotten together with other big names to increase his audience. Such an ignorant comment given with zero evidence.

Rarely do I get upset when someone I don't know very well dies but im absolutely crushed at his passing. He was a very good man. I talked with jim a few times by email and he is as straightforward in person as on his videos.

I started watching John's videos because he was the first person I found that wasn't an egotistical a-hole. He didn't feel the need to curse, yell or make fools of people to get his point across. It was straight up quality information and teaching. John will be terribly missed.

I watch so many fitness youtubers weekly and try to utilize as many tips and tricks as I can but John's tips always stuck with me the most. I still remember when he mentioned that decline bench plate trick from many videos ago and i continue to use it on my chest days. Absolute legend, thank you for continuing to upload his content. Love to see the channel still going. I bet the legend has tons of content that we have never even seen yet. It's also even more amazing since he is literally still teaching & helping others even beyond this Earth. AND his family will continue to be supported through these videos as well. Although it does nothing when it comes to taking away the pain & heartache of losing a husband / father, but it can help major burdens that often come about aside from the trauma itself.
