Elbow pain makes everything in life tough, not just lifting. If you’re doing an exercise and it feels funny on your elbow, STOP. Working through pain is a sure fire way to injure yourself long term.

I use long rope that is usually used for weighted dips. That rope is usually not used a lot in the gym I train in, so I use it for both triceps and biceps. (Pull rope up to your ears, similar to barbell curls close to forehead, but no risk to hit your own head :) )

Should you blend arms (biceps) with triceps or dedicated a day only for triceps

I have to say, I don't really understand doing the exercises that are harder on the elbows last. I'm not necessarily saying he's wrong, I just don't understand the difference. If they're harder on your elbows, wouldn't it be bad on the joint regardless?
@TrussttN01
@TrussttN01 7 ай бұрын
I would think that doing them last means that you are totally warmed up, and you have probably used your triceps in other exercises, so it takes less weight to fatigue the triceps by then. Less weight should mean less chance of injury.
@MizzouRah78
@MizzouRah78 7 ай бұрын
@Paul_dw_Kersey I considered the warming up theory but found it to be pretty extreme. However, more fatigue translating to less weight actually seems plausible due to less strain on the joint. The video didn't really clarify.
@rlanderson3
@rlanderson3 7 ай бұрын
You aren’t able to use as much load due to muscular fatigue. This limits absolute load on the joint.
@rlanderson3
@rlanderson3 7 ай бұрын
To use an example, imagine how much you could squat at the beginning of a session vs how much less after hack squats, leg extensions, and lunges. All your joints know is the load.
