So I got my own preacher curl bench and db and only had that so did high reps I never do low now!! My mate said very similar I train to break down tissue not go for a weight as that weightlifting I use perfect form and get my best arms measurement with a 11kg dumbell!! I do strength training with heavy weights on other exercises squats etc but only the method described works for me on arms I have to train them to oblivion!! And if we train he still won’t have it and swings them about so I fee this one

"Alright tip #3, whatever you do, do not curl in the squat rack." Haha Awesome. Seriously I love tip #2 on gripping the dumbbell on the inner portion of the handle closest to the plate that is closest to your body. This is great to gain strength in supination and contraction at the top. It's like a natural way to spot yourself to break through that small barrier of strength and mind to muscle connection with your bis. Eventually transition to placing your grip on the further side of the dumbbell as this does force the biceps to work harder through the curl and supination. I've found it very challenging to gain that little bit of strength in the supination aspect of a curl, especially on my left arm as I have a muscular imbalance. Love love love #2!
