Hi Matt, Just wondering how the 6000 compares to the Axiom.

So far I'd say it's more sensitive on the deeper small gold (sub 1g) gold. I do think the axiom does better on deeper big gold but I have not had enough experience to confirm that yet. I plan to do a controlled test between the two soon

Good stuff! This gets me excited about doing some metal detecting! Can you tell me what length of pick your buddy is using in the beginning of the video, eighteen inches? Is it an Apex model?

Doug might hop in and answer but I'm not sure the length. it's a pick a buddy made for him. Apex does make a pick in the same length and so does royal. Mine is an apex pick. Apex picks are very well made

@@MountaineerMatt Thanks! I have the Apex Badger 12", but I've found it to small for my liking. They are great quality for sure, I plan on getting another longer one, either in 18" or 24" length. Now that the weather is getting cooler, I'm planning for trips into the Mojave. Thanks for all of the great videos, you have a lot of great areas to find gold!

didn't find anything. with my nox 900 was getting 1 or 2 in (gold 1) but as i took the iron stone away the signal died off. like a bunch of iron stone pebbles laying there. 😂🤣😂🤣. but learned a lot about my 900. and looking for gold. 👍👍👍. gotta learn your machine have a good day.

I run it on the highest manual setting I can to keep the threshold stable
