I took off echo of persistence in PvE and it started giving me volatile rounds when invis runs out. It's a little easier to stay consistent for me if I take that fragment off, even though it's the fragment I would technically want on the build. Not sure if it's the same in PvP. I was really surprised 'too stylish' lasts 12 seconds, seems like a long cooldown. Anyway, I wonder if the Gyrfalcon's combo with echo of persistence is bugged.

kept a rangefinder and kill clip/repulsor. originally repulsor was for pve but turned out to be pretty good with gyrfalcon in pvp. imo unforgiven is probably the best to pair with gyrfalcon though, especially pve since it can get demo

The Veles-X seasonal pulse rifle is super unique because its one of the only weapons in the game that gets Repulsor Brace in column 3, while still having access to a damage perk (Kill Clip or Golden Tricorn) in column 4. The vendors' roll has a Handling MW, but the collections roll has a Stability MW. Would work insanely well with Gyrfalcons in this meta.

What you also could of done to improve on this build is have your grenades weaken as well. Will trigger the OS. Plus HC overload will help keep shields from recharging. Meaning stay weak proc volatile.

The nice thing about this build is that it has the power to naturally counter most forms of Second chances! (Such as Wormhusk dodge, Overshields, Healing Grenade) as if they attempt to re-engage you can pop the volatile on them to render the additional health moot!

Meele also takes you out of invis, if you don't want to reveal your position by shooting If you wanna get use out of Repulsor Brace on Stompees, you will get an overshield from someone weakened by your smoke, aswell as anyone suppressed by your suppressor nades

This loadout might actually be worth running in trials more than other game modes. Volatile takes 200 dmg to proc so its only useful in PvP to kill someone if theyre taking short trades and healing in between. Also wall hacks in trials is just a touch better than usual as we've seen with khepris.

The Trials hand cannon paired with Gyrfalcon's is way better than that piece of poop 180. If you think the Ikelos is good with it, go try Exalted Truth with Repulsor Brace. Hero's Burden is also really strong with it, and you can pair that with Rose to get some of that sweet lightweight mobility, or DMT for maximum degeneracy.

And yeah, the person who likes to "touch grass on the weekends" is literally balls deep in the comments section of a Destiny 2 PvP-focused KZbin video... ON THE WEEKEND 🤣 Seriously, it's always amusing to me when you see comments like that, because they assume that going outside and having the basic hand-eye coordination required to successfully fire a 140 in crucible are somehow mutually exclusive. They aren't, and it's just an excuse for being bad. We all know it, and everyone can just move forward. Another problem with the comment, though, is that 180's aren't "great" for anyone. The peek shot potential is garbage, the TTK is slow, the range is poor, and the handling is usually cheeks too. Combine all those things an it's like... what are you actually accomplishing with those elements? Nothing. Wallah can make it work, but a good player can make literally anything work. You want a casual friendly weapon that can at least have a fighting chance to compete? Grab a 450 auto rifle. A pulse. A fricking bow. Absolutely anything else. 180's are the literal last option anyone should be reaching for in this meta and map rotation, especially low-skilled players. But, in the end, it's all about what people like to use and have fun with. Play with whatever marshmallow thrower you want.

Fun fact: volatile makes 120s 2 tap to the head at full health. Also Unforgiven, i think lacks only 1.5m to Ikelos, is amazing with this build. I keep forgetting to upload my max range Unforgiven with repulsor to the discord lol. By far my favorite loadout in trials.

Try the Veles X out again with repulsor + Golden Tricorn (or kill clip). Golden Tricorn x1 basically gives a damage buff stronger than Rampage x1, but weaker than Rampage x2. So you go invis, get a kill, Gyrfalcon gives volatile and procs repulsor brace giving you an overshield, getting a kill on a voif debuffed target makes you go invis AND gives you wall hacks, rinse and repeat. Golden tricorn makes it a super consistent 2-burst kill

@@Zevox144 With this combo, you get Volatile, which is better than the damage buff you get from OEM. You don't have to take damage to proc the overshield or wall hacks. The wall hacks Truesight gives (I think it's called truesight?) is MUCH better than the wall hacks OEM gives, as it lets you see the whole team. When I first heard what the new Gyrefalcon did, I also didn't think it was better than OEM. Then I saw some people say that it was, and after really thinking about it I realized they were right. The Gyrefalcon + Repulsor Brace combo is nuts lol

Gyrfalcon build has been super fun in PVE. first time seeing it for pvp and it looks really fun as well. Also, its good to know that weapons with osmosis perk also get volatile rounds as long as you have gyrfalcon on. for example, you can have lodbrok auto rifle with osmosis in kinetic slot, and any void weapon with repulsor brace in energy slot.

Repulsor Brace on Exalted Truth is a MUCH better option as 180s are pretty terrible. You can actually get rangefinder+repluser. Pair that with the bugged(it HAS to be a bug because 30+ meter hipfire kills is just ridiculous) Heritage to hipfire ppl coming around corners with the wallhacks and it's a really run build to use in 6s. It's also good on the Veles pulse from this season as well if you prefer pulses to handcannons.

Gambit pulse rifle also has a chance to drop with repulsor brace. Although it's a 390 rpm gun, it still feels good to use. So pulse rifle mains you have a similar option for you 😁

Fr tho this is my favourite 180 for pvp, golden tricorn makes it do the exact same damage as a 140 for 8 seconds at only x1 stacks. Oh yeah and getting 6 bullets straight into the mag for breaking an enemy shield? absolutely mows in 6's!

Nobody is using this build because it doesn't come with titan barricades or 30 second arc grenades or a one shot blinding melee nor can it spawn 6 crystals along the ground, providing the enemy team with overshields, deployable cover, and just because, all of their grenade energy back to do the same thing. I could be wrong, but my professional opinion, this build takes a little too much skill for the community to latch on to.
