So bungie is telling us they can't make a simple cheat engine that detects when a player has infinite supers in trials, heavy ammo in non-heavy rounds, has super round 1? I get how wall hacks or aimbot could be hard to detect but these other things that change values in game? I dont know much about programming but this just seems wild to me.

It’s probably a legal situation regarding people’s platforms being scanned for malicious files or programs. If Bungie fucks up that engine and bricks everyone’s console and pc, it’ll be the end for them. Or the engine works, but no one knows how much control that engine would have in its access to your platform. And I assume it’s a pain in the ass to make it for console too.

Idk how many games during IB there was a hard cheater. Instantly blade barrage the whole team the moment the match would start, flying around, etc. Its getting out of hand. Bungie wouldn't do it to the extent they would need to, but suing individual cheaters would be a nice way to lower the occurrences. But that probably wouldnt stop them.

Even still, pooling resources "back" is such cope. It will take years still. Bungie only stayed with Halo for 10 years and that was more popular in its heyday than D2 or D1 ever was. Just realize they might not be very passionate about D2 anymore even if it is still their moneymaker thanks to fans who'll buy anything they put out.

Me and some friends went into trio to see how bad it was. 1st match was a trio using Zoom hacks, infine Le-Monarque through walls, scorch stacks 1-100 within seconds off of spawn. Infinite insta Witherhoard. Proceeded to face the same team 2 more games in row and we just hopped off to play a different game for the day. Cheats are the most wild I’ve ever seen in this game and I only imagine they are gonna get more rampant after all the QA team has been let go

Hello. A casual player here. Never finished raid or a dungeon, only occasional strikes and whatnot (the hardest content I have done is a grandmaster nightfall thru the fire team finder). Recently i played like 5 cruicibe control matches. Got so excited, that I could actually manage to get a kill for every Jotun bullet and actually feel like I am doing fine and enjoying the games. Untill the last 2 games when I encountered cheaters (could not damage them and they moved really fast). Now I play poe2 and I am kinda angry. Destiny gunplay Is amazing, but now I feel like there's nothing to do there, and thinking about it, we'll no wonder that there is so much talk about "Destiny 2 dry up, or player population collapse". There's only fans and hardcores left, and the casual are almost not evolving and/or dropping the game in big numbers.
