Replace the water in some of the traps with Armstrong's mix. A half teaspoon should be enough if the mouse lands on it good and hard. Armstrong mix is the stuff found in toy cap, very dangerous, a teaspoon could probably remove a finger and damage eardrums. Another method is to have the mouse locked in a container with the only way out is to dig through the mix,....then suddenly scare the mouse and he will vigorously dig through the mix with a lot of force and speed,....this should bring the mix to full orgasm rather quickly

Can you show us a more detailed shot of your trigger? You made it one way in the video, and then when it came down to using it, it was a different design. I have tried bending clips to match the design, but cannot seem to get it...it either doesn't hold at all, or it's way too tough to pull free and set it off. Thanks Shawn!!!

I saw a guy make a catapault for squirrels. I'm sure the same can be done for mice, just scale everything down (mainly so it'd be easier to trick the mouse to stepping into the bowl or whatever is used to launch them).

A more powerful one could. I have a cheap salmon fillet board that's practically the rat and squirrel version. Edit: it has a powerful enough spring that can cut into the caudal fin of a fish.

The metal bit holding the eraser is really soft. You can cut through that with the box cutter blade instead of breaking off a potentially useful bit of the pencil. I do it all the time when I find old pencils with erasers so old they're dryer than chalk. Also, I'm pretty sure this thing hits hard enough to kill rats too.

Hi, so a little bit of alternate perspective, I know Shawn gets alot of crap, but I'm a vegetarian of 5 years and I have no problems with these videos. I love animals and hate abuse, however this is quite the opposite. Most of the mice are unconfined until they meet a swift death or trapped and released. He also does not condone traps that "tourcher" them like glue or collective live traps. Just relax people, or don't watch.
