Aw yeah, you're finally back! I've been playing 3rd Strike since the PS2 (that was 20 years ago?!). I've used a handful of characters (Akuma, Sean, Hugo, Elena, Twelve, working on Remy now) but I've used Chun-Li the most by far. I'm definitely closer to Nuki's playstyle. Chun-Li has excellent offensive options, so I'd rather keep my opponents scared and overwhelmed. Some players rage quit on me because I don't play like a "normal" Chun-Li. Sometimes I like to switch things up mid-match just to mess with them. Everyone forgets that she has an air throw; I jump in to bait Shoryukens, parry them, and then counter with the air throw. It also works really well on Urien players who start with the knee drop. It can wreck Twelve's air dashing as well. Crouching medium punch can be a good round opener in some matchups. Her overhead flip is very risky, but it can dodge some uppercuts and set up SA2 if it isn't blocked/parried properly. Crouching light kick can be good against Yun/Yang when they're using their SA3. I also test how experienced my opponent is by getting them in the corner and head stomping (you can do 10 in a row before the game auto pushes you from the wall) until they figure out how to counter/avoid it. It's always fun watching someone figure it out mid-fight and improving in the next round.
