Thank you Adriene, you have changed my life. As a trucker I spend my days sitting on my butt with insane tension in my neck and back and constant tiredness. I take my mat with me everywhere I go and do your practices whenever I get a break, and I feel so much better afterwards. It's been a few years now and I can't imagine my life without you and Benji and your incredible support, love and genuine care. My life has improved 10000% and I also feel less alone during those very lonely long hauls. Thank you and much love from the road ❤

What an amazing comment! Thank you for sharing. I drive long distance sometimes for one of my jobs and I've thought of truckers and wondered how bad it must get. Even with making myself take stops nowadays I have realized even a 6 hour drive takes a huge toll on the body. I did a few 9 hour ones last month and it was awful. Coming here for the practice with the Adriene community was a saving grace! 🎨💗🌼 Namaste 💗🌼🎨

Same here! I started this year with a new journal, and this 30 day series, and assumed my ADHD would keep me from sticking with either one of them. But I think each one has kept me motivated to stick with the other! It's been amazing. Congrats on making it! ❤

senior citizen checks in: day 28 a nice easy session thank you. At 68 years old I know that I'll never be able to do some of these poses, but I bring what I can and I show up. How do I want to feel? Physically, It's as simple as being able to put my socks on in the morning without a bunch of groans (you youngsters won't understand) lol. Does anyone else feel like Adriene is talking to you, knowing exactly how you’re feeling and what you need that exact day? So many things she says are so spot on. Example: a few videos ago my wrists were hurting and she said something like if you’re wrists are can’t do this… she’s in my head lmao!!! Love you Adriene!! I can’t believe I’m here on day 28. I never follow thru with anything but now I will do yoga every day! Even though my 3 yr old insists on sitting on my chest every time I lay down, and hanging on my back right before I have to do downward dog. 🤦🏻♀️🧘♀️

We are so close to the end of this month, I’m proud of all of us for doing this. It’s like a physical therapy to heal a lot more besides some words we can use for it and that feels good no matter how hard we can struggle at times. This practice (especially after yesterday's practice) makes me think of a philosophy that bell hooks proposed. Grossly paraphrased here, it has to do with the stories that we are often most familiar with: the hero's journey. There's always a battle, a fight, and a conquering. And I love Star Wars, but we are all too familiar with aggression and violence because of a history of colonialism, societys' hierarchies, oppression, or stories in pop culture. Instead, what if we took a journey of love? Just love. The mantra of "I am strong" can be interpreted in so many ways! I am reminded to take care of myself and others, and maybe, just maybe, through my strength of love, I can achieve what I want, which will, in turn, will make the world a better place.

To anyone who has been following Adriene for a little while, which 30 day series would you recommend after this one? I've done 30 Days of Yoga, Home, Dedicate and now Move :-) Today is day 125 of daily yoga and I'm so grateful for Yoga with Adriene! I went from doing ZERO exercice to DAILY yoga without missing a single day in 125 days!! Feeling GREAT! Thanks, Adriene!

Hopefully you will want to continue, either by following the YWA calendar., or by following the other 7? 30 days of yoga programmes. I did all of those last year, with other sessions interspersed. This is my 6th or 7th yr of YWA 30 day and they all have been so very special. If you like on You Tube you can find another 30 day journey. Last year or the year before. This is my winter ritual and the 2nd 30 day for me is a very large learning experience ! I have personal memories of those times that carry me throughout the year. Peace.

It's 17 of February today. I started the journey later than everybody and I keep doing it in my own pace. I am from Ukraine and practicing yoga helps me to calm down and distract myself from all panic and worries which is on a high level in my country right now. This is the very first thing I did when I got up. Usually, I practice in the evening. I'm in the North East of the US so my soundtrack today consists of wind and plow trucks as a blizzard rolls through but this practice was so nice and cozy. Perfect for a day like today. Wow! This is exactly what I needed. I woke up stressed and anxious about my long to do list but at the same time thinking that I need to take care of myself and have quality time with my family. I enjoyed the long breathing. Have a great everyone!

This journey encompasses so much more than you can ever fathom. I had to put my sweet dog of 13 years down yesterday. It doesn’t feel real, he was my best friend and had the most wonderful energy about him, even as he got old. Seeing you and Benji together makes me so happy, I’ll miss that quiet companionship more than anything. Thank you for the chance to get a little out of my head and focus on my heart and for marking this moment in my life with strength and tenderness

I loved today's practice and it was just what I needed! I'm away for the weekend with a big group of friends and today's practice was done in a youth hostel laundry room! Not very glamorous but lovely and warm!!! Perfect for hot yoga!

I set my intention on Day 0 to be open to better things. Day 28 I feel stronger not only in body but in sense of self. This week I turned down a job for all the right reasons, remembering all your comments on how refreshing it is for Adriene to be interviewed by a man who doesn't interrupt her. My interviewer missed this memo. I was offered more writing jobs that same day. Less money, better paid in all that counts. Thank you, every single one of you. My holy says hi to your holy 🐬💞🙏💖

Even though I loved every single practice, I just noticed that I forgot to push the like button. I saw that her likes ratio decreases practice by practice. I guess most of us just forgot too. Here is a reminder to be generous too, like Adriane who gave us so many free practices.

i realised this morning that i’ve been having a delicious stretch and yawn when waking up for the last week or so, something i hadn’t noticed i’d stopped doing. but it’s been a long while. this practice with you all has woken it up in me again and feels like i am connecting back with my body after a long separation. what’s additionally excellent is that this kind of stretching is called pandiculation and one of the definitions for it describes it as a preparation for the body to MOVE. thank you Adriene x

Just the practice I needed today! I found out that I was accepted into a mechanical engineering workshop at a big university here in the UAE and I was doubting myself and my worthiness to be accepted into this camp. This practice has helped me remind myself that I am worthy and I do deserve to be there just as much as anyone else! Thank you Adrienne! Namaste 💛

Put a sweet potato in the oven with some thyme pre-practice today and I could smell it cooking happily as I was watching this - focusing on my breath has never been so easy 😅thank you Adriene, and roast vegetables!

As this journey is coming to an end I keep reminding myself that in every end is a new beginning to deal with the anxiety that comes with it. This 30 day journey has made my mat a safe place for me to land more than ever before. Daily practice is what has been keeping me going and it leaves me uneasy that day 30 is so close. But it has encouraged me to keep practicing daily, so, new journeys await soon :) Today's practice was really nice and cozy. Nothing better than the feeling of sharing this special journey with people from all over the world! Love you lots !!!

Happy Day 28 Everyone! This was so exactly what I needed. I feel so supported and nurtured. And after yesterday, I am definitely in need of some tenderness. I’m going to take this feeling off the mat today and stay tender and gentle with myself all day. I hope everyone is able to do the same in some way, shape, or form. I definitely missed having our live premiere today. I love our before practice chats. Just a reminder…. JOIN THE FWFG KULA and we can continue to support each other with a live chat of sorts.
