I was legit just looking for some sort of quick release system for my new Osmo Action this morning. It looks like this would be perfect for me to go from a backpack strap mount to a tripod mount super easily!

This would be awesome for my Canon M50. Would make it so easy to transfer from a tripod, to a backpack and over to a handheld blogging setup so quickly. This makes things so much easier especially for a more lightweight setup. Awesome review. Thanks!

I am a video productions student in my high school in Las Vegas, Nevada. Because of the pandemic, all schools in the city are closed. My teacher has assigned us to do our stories from home. There weren't any cameras or tripods for me to check out from school so I have to use my own stuff. I'm only using one camera which is a my mom's old Nikon D3200 which I switch between my Feiyutech Ak4500 gimbal and my tripod. Everytime I switch between the gimbal and tripod, I have to screw and unscrew the camera from the camera plate of the tripod and gimbal. Having the quick release system would help.

I would use this for my RX100 V, Hero 5, Osmo Action and A6400. I think the Action Cam Portion is probably the most I would use it for and with my RX100 V

Looks like a much better system than Peak Design. I’ve had lots of trouble with PD quick release and eventually trashed it. My intent for this system will be for all my light weight, compact travel gear. This includes the Osmo Pocket, GoPros, LUMIX Micro Fourth Thirds system, Zhiyun Crane 2, portable LED light panels, field monitors, portable audio recorders (Zoom and Tascam) and of course, cellphone (Samsung Note 20 Ultra). Whew!

Thanks for the video. I think I'd use this with my GoPro Hero 7 and Osmo Pocket. I've used the PD clip but find it too bulky especially when attached to my backpack strap.

I would like to use it for my hiking setup which is the Sony dx80, GoPro hero 7 black, and I take the Mavic Air. That way I can switch from mini tripod to monopod, to backpack strap easily without adding alot to my kit. I try to keep it light and that they compliment one another.

This actually looks pretty cool. Definitely convenient for swapping between setups. Wouldn't mind winning the action cam version to play around with along with my selfie stick and the Insta 360. Strapped to a backpack strap but elongated over my head to get an almost overhead 360 view of what was happening. Can definitely come in handy in a lot of situations. 👍👍

So I'd definitely use this with my action cam. I mount my dji osmo cam on my chest but also on a magnetic car mount. And God, the amount of switching I have to do back and forth between accessories is ridiculous just to do that.

This looks like a good package to have no mater what camera you have. . How many mounts to the bottom of the camera does this come with so you can change from camera to camera? My AKASO arrived about 10 minutes ago and will I be checking it out later today. Thankfully it had plenty of bubble wrap around it, the box appeared to have been crush somewhere along the the route and seems had been torn partially open but it was safe and sound inside! Thanks again for all you do and will be watching your posts for more ideas.

Can you compare this quick connect to others? I have been interested in determining the best return on investment one, since you have to buy multiple of them to support multiple devices and stands. I have a GoPro Fusion and a6400 and a6500 that I would want to connect to car mount, tripod, gimbal, monopod. Will this one be able to hold a GoPro Fusion on an outside car mount and the car driving 60mph?

Great review and overview of the products! This would be so great to use with my gimbal and a7R IV so I wouldn’t have to rebalance every time I move my camera from tripod to gimbal. With this I could use the claw on the tripod and gimbal with ease. I’d also love to use the backpack mount for both camera and action camera! Would increase speed and be a comfortable mounting point. Overall this Ulanzi claw system looks so flexible and convenient to use in many scenarios. Could even use this for mounting lights and mics quickly. Limitless options.
