I am looking forward to seeing the final house tour. You have turned this unit into a very cozy home. I love the color of the accent wall in the living/dining area. Plants do very well for you. I can see in the future when you buy your next home it will have a garden so you can grow your own tomatoes, peppers scallions whatever. I am enjoying all the videos you put out. I don't always comment but I watch. Thanks for sharing. I only wish I had been as knowledgeable about finance as you are. The one thing really great though was my late husband purchased out first home the month after we became engaged and we moved in 4 months later. That was our honeymoon. It was a wonderful feeling to know our money was not supporting someone else and their mortgage. Have a Blessed day.

Hiring movers is the best. I can’t go back. For mattress stains I recently learned a trick. If you mix hydrogen peroxide, dish soap and baking soda in a spray bottle then spray on stain it is a miracle worker. You wait for it to dry and vacuum up the baking soda residue. You’d never even know.

Great tip! I have a mattress pad on there, but the dogs drool and leave the grossest stains. Just didn't want to get made fun of on the internet for it.

While you are doing house maintenance, go outside and clean out the vents for the dryers. I paid twice for different guys to come fix my dryer because it was running but not drying. Turns out a friend mentioned the vent. I had no clue there is a tiny plastic “screen” door that keeps animals out but the downside is that it collects lint - lots of it! Now I understand how dryers catch houses on fire! Hope I save you $ on that! Have never heard of a/c thing you mentioned so I will definitely check into that. Glad you are getting settled! Anxious to see the tour!! 🌸💜

@charbynovak20614 жыл бұрын
💐 Sarah, I have been watching you for years! I still love the love to watch the “lean years” in Mena! Instead of trying to constantly think up new material for your videos, why don’t you just have regular sections in each video. Maybe one for meals and cooking, one for organizing whatever you’re organizing at the time, one for cleaning, one for decorating either for the season or just regular decorating. One for your plants, inside and outside, their care etc. and always a little visit with the precious little short hairy people!!! 😊🐶❤️❤️👍

I'm certain you mean well charby but you're essentially asking me to create a variety show within each video. That would be an insane amount of work and youtube viewers and the algorithm would absolutely tank/ hate it.

My AC went out 2 months after I bought my house. It was August in San Antonio with Summer still in full swing. My home warranty company/the contractor came out within a couple of days but it took A MONTH to fix it... I bought a swamp cooler unit for $350.00 5 days in and even at its coolest setting on full blast it would only ever get down to 80 degrees in the small space it was. Learning lesson to not funnel all of your savings into purchasing the home, cause things will go wrong and you’ll need money to fix them :)

What i would do in that situation is budget for the most expensive month, then use the extra money in other months towards a specific goal (pay extra on debt, use as extra savings, invest extra in the stock market, use as your Christmas gift money, etc).

@BudgetGirl4 жыл бұрын
you (or someone trying to be helpful at the office) likely drowned it! Been there. They need a little water maybe once a month. cut out all the squishy/ rotting stuff and let that sucker dry out! and if its rotting at the roots, cut any dry firm leaves and just sink em in a new pot of soil. it'll grow back!
