You will hear it time and time again by people in higher elo: the two things that hold people back, especially in toplane, is a lack of understanding of wave management and macro play. They back at terrible times, they mindlessly shove and then do nothing, etc. etc. Champ be damned. People have gotten to grandmasters with yuumi top (funny videos of it too). It is just so many people don't understand manipulating waves and positioning themselves throughout the game. Though it is perfectly fair to say playing a less mechanically complex champ like garen, morde, etc. etc. will make it easier to focus on the game more and on mechanics less. That is what gets people out of shitlo.

i just noticed late game thresh had 375 ms and everyone on the team had like 419 why is he so slow now? i havent played in a year but he is mad squishy and slow now

I like you bro so im gonna tell you the real black magic with AD thresh. Flay deals 2x your AD as magic damage. Go Sorc Shoes. Thresh has passive Ap and scaling armor from souls, instead of going MORE armor you can get afford to go Sorc shoes, Increasing your damage with everything in threshs kit Ad thresh isnt a normal AD champ, hes a Magic nuker with hybrid damage. Personally I woulda gone Sorc shoes into Storm Razor because fucking Rivens movespeed is funny
