As someone who played almost exclusively Thresh in non-supp roles for last few seasons, matchup against Darius is very winnable. The key to playing against any early game agressive champion is to buy T2 defensive boots on first return to base and abuse movement difference while it lasts. Thresh doesn't have early game damage or survivability to win fights. Your only way of winning lane is to keep enemy at safe distance and use passive from E to poke them whenever you can. Your E should be enough to disengage (once you have movement speed advantage).
