Noel Matthews didn’t they just use a plane that would go into free fall to create 0 gravity?

They built a mock-up of the Lunar Module and Command Module inside a KC-135 aircraft and then they flew parobolic arcs of about 20 seconds each which creates weightlessness. I read they flew over 600 of these parabolic arcs to get all of the footage they needed. Peace.

A very fake looking scene in the VAB - up on the gantry in front of the Rocket, but that’s nothing compared to the wooden and unconvincing performance of Tom Hanks.
