This was a week before his fatal accident,I watched it,and watched it over and over.Both his skis came off,it was the teather that you throw away from you that pulls your shute that got hung up inside his arm and his shute didnt deploy.If that teather gets to the inside of your arm,you better think fast before the ground gets too close,one mistake ends you in basejumping.

Shane McConkey will always be a legend He was a wonderful husband and father and he got to live more in his sport and was able to combine his talents in skiing and Base Jumping as well as Ski base wingsuit. Which is why he outshines most legends. ❤️
