It will be a once in a VERY blue moon treat - like maybe 2x a year, at the very most, because so much deadly ingredients are in this stuff. I haven’t been to the movie theater in many, many years because of my disability, and like you, I used to work at a theater when I was a youngin’, so I crave that popcorn every now and then. This will be my first time attempting to make it though… It’s really sad that you died from indulging on absolutely everything, and I hope that people will learn a lesson from knowing what ended your life so early.

Dude..with all the COVID stuff and movie theaters being closed, weekend popcorn was my way of forgetting about work on weekend and getting lost in a movie. I missed that! I wanted this at home if possible and researched things a lot. I bought the great northern popper with stand and thought the coconut oil and flavacol was the answer...was too salty and just didn’t give me the movie taste. I ran across your video here....bingo. Ditched the coconut oil, reduced the flavacol by half and used the buttery topping to pop! Perfect! Movie authentic! Can’t thank you enough! This is a dream come true

I love the taste of popcorn but I never eat it anymore because some of the kernel shells or whatever they're called will occasionally get stuck in my teeth/gums and sometimes it can be difficult to get out. Sadly I decided the stress just wasn't worth it. But I'm jealous of those who can enjoy it with no problems. I always loved the caramel popcorn. When I was a kid I loved getting a box of cracker jacks. Anyways this was a good video. It felt very nostalgic.

I got my cheese dust from Amazon, it is called "Cheddar Cheese Powder by Hoosier Hill Farm" It is so good and a little bit goes a long way. I really wanted to try and make some mac and cheese with it because its almost just like the packets in the easy mac. So you can just cheese up everything you decide to cook! Popcorn is one of the best dog treats because you can just throw them a nugget every now and then. In my house if you have popcorn the dogs are going to be looking directly at you until you are finished.

I recently bought 8 pounds of Snappy brand large yellow popcorn kernels and a Presto popcorn popper on substantial sales. Some Snappy Butter Burst and Flavacol will be ordered next. Theater popcorn is too salty and caustic for me, so the salt will be used sparingly. When the excellent Snappy popcorn is finished, I might try the Amish brand. However, both it and Redenbacher are more expensive and you don't get as much for the higher price.

I use a brillo pad sometimes but the oil isn't very sticky so you don't have to clean it that often, if your stuff is already dirty for some reason I would use a brillo pad with vinegar. For the most part tho it should be super easy to wipe the whole thing off. It really doesn't get that sticky or dirty (as far as this method, if you used coconut oil I have no idea)
