MOVIE THEATERS IN 2021!
After more than a year since going to a movie theater to watch a movie, the guys finally get to re-live the full theatrical viewing experience. However, after a year of getting used to watching movies from the comfort of home with such conveniences as being able to pause the movie and go to the bathroom, enjoying an affordable homemade snack or beverage, and avoiding noisy strangers the guys are feeling a bit less excited about the whole thing. Has the magic been lost?

Secret, cut a whole into the lining of your jacket and stuff you food and drinks there, it looks normal if don't have anything to bulky, its tight enough to not make noise when you walk, and you can have your jacket sipped down so the employees wont even be suspicious, you know the two who care if you sneak any in

You could buy a VR headset and buy a movie ticket, they might only have some cartoony avatars for now, but give it a couple decades and you might wind up preferring that experience more than physical theaters because you'll still get the community aspect but without all the drawbacks like walking outside the theater and being blinded by the light temporarily 😂

Then u do some emotional speech, which was already cringe at first, but the repetition of it in so many videos makes it unwatchable. And u guys still wonder why u don’t get that much views per video. Ticket prices have been a big annoyance for me for a while even before the shutdown. I went from seeing a movie a couple times a month to a couple times a year and also got tired of being the only guy brave enough to tell the a-holes in front of us to quit talking so loudly. I bought my own home popcorn machine this last year so I don’t feel like I’ve missed much by not being able to go to a theater aside from noisy inconsiderate people, over priced concessions, and $40 worth of tickets so my family can watch the film.

Just saw demon slayer in theaters with a friend. It was safe, friend had amc pass so one ticket was free, movie looked and sounded great...What I’m saying is I just want another excuse on my list to leave my house

Big, bombastic action movies are the only ones worth seeing in theaters. 1917 was the last movie I saw in theaters and it was unbelievably worth. Also Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Revenge of the Sith (midnight showing) were the best theater experiences I've ever had in my life. The audience reaction to Ceaser's "No" still gives me goosebumps

@3:02 9 years ago when I started working at the theater it surprised me. At my local corprate theater we allowed people in with food and who ordered food. Mostly only pizza. Most pizza places in our city would deluver to us, so cowrkers would order all the time. I wouldn't cause I barely made 200 for two weeks and I couldn't afford to spend on the dleivery service. That and I'm allergic to the citric acid in tomatoes which is in pizzza sauce. Soooo.. yeah.... I've seen so many rules change therethat now we just let them in if it looks like alot of food. But for a time they cracjed down on us allowing thus andnpeople could only eat in the loby or exit hall bug meals

One of the first things I did after getting laid off last year was turning my bedroom into a full home theater. Projectors are so inexpensive now, and setting up 5.1 surround sound isn't hard either. It's gotten to the point that people are even doing 4K in their own homes now too.

I love the satire, but we have a place called Cinema Cafe where I live that has decent ticket prices ($5-$7) and they have restaurant quality food for a decent price.

As much as I miss theaters (especially A-list, for 3 movies a week) I won’t lie that there’s a certain amount of comfortability about movies at home. You don’t need to have an amazing set up but getting to watch a brand new movie at home with your friends or family, pausing if they need to. Eating your own food, and turning a experience of your friends sitting feet away from you in a row to everyone sitting in a group laughing and enjoying the movie together. Not to mention that some services like Disney + premier access lets you keep the movie once you buy it. Pre covid it cost over 100 dollars to watch a movie with me, my children, and wife. Now I spend 30 and get a much better experience. I feel movies theaters were great but think since covid we have evolved to the different but still good streaming age
