I swear the entire film before the last half an hour is really clever foreshadowing that also acts as an Easter egg sorta thing for fans to realise on multiple watches. The pub names all foreshadow what happens in the pub. Even the opening monologue practically tells you what happens in the end. Paint the town red? 5 musketeers then they lose two of them and become the 3 musketeers? It’s why I love this film so much. And also coz it’s an awesome film anyway.

I mean it's the same thing Wright did with Shaun of the Dead. Ed tries to cheer Shaun up at the Winchester after his breakup with Liz by laying out a plan on what they'll do the next day to get him to forget about her. “We’ll have a Bloody Mary first thing, grab a bite at the King’s Head, a couple at the Little Princess, stagger back here and, bang, we’ll be back at the bar for shots!” How does the movie play out? Bloody Mary - they meet z word Mary in their backyard. Bite at the King's Head - Philip, his stepdad, the king, gets bitten in the head by the z word. Couple at the Little princesses - they save Liz, the princess and the couple, David and Di. Stagger back here - they stagger back like z words back at the Winchester. And bang, we'll be back in the bar for shots - they hold a last stand at the bar while shooting the horde with a rifle.

@Veridiano02 Жыл бұрын
@@roberttheronin9803 That's not true. At all. There's not a single war that started because someone disagreed to someone else. Wars are big, socioeconomic armed conflicts of ever growing scale that starts for a lot of reasons involving thousands, hundrends of thousands and even millions of people. Economy, social unrest, conflicting policies, strategic deployment, invasions, politics... All of that mixed together. Conflicts where someone disagrees with someone else is what I have with my sister almost everyday of the week. We disagree in a lot of stuff, sometimes with passion, but we do not engage in armed conflict, or even hate each other because of that. Hell, with my mother, father, friends, girlfriend... We disagree in a lot of stuff all the time. We still see each other and enjoy each other's company. Mammon is right, the world is a mess, and it shouldn't be a mess. Human nature has nothing to do with it, We can, hell, we should live in an utopia. There's a lot of stuff that shoudl be improved, we should learn to listen each other, be more empathic, and way, way more tolerant. This society can, and must be improved in many ways until it may became an utopia. But for it being an utopia it has to be a real one. And utopia enforced by someone else, created and cemented over the bones of countless people murdered by a psychotic machine because they were tagged "not worthy of be alive" or "a detriment for our species" is the oposite of an utopia. It's autarchy, a dictatorship. That's even worse than what we have now. At least now we're free to talk to each other and there's no "alien self proclaimed overlord" trying to murder us if we don't fit in their definition of "perfection".
