Sometimes, for the sake of entertainment we don't need accuracy but a good storytelling like this one.
@davormasnic48564 жыл бұрын
This movie does not intend to make official historic accuracy. It is alternate history. People on horses are remaining from Atlantis and try to build new empire. It is theory mainly by Graham Hancock and some other authors who believe in existence of ancient Ice Age civilization which vanished in great cataclysm. Only unsolved question is about who is Almighty and two more people like him who probably died before this story line There are three possibilities 1. Member of ruling cast from Atlantis, only one remaining of three survivors 2. The visitor from another planet only one remaining of three 3. Time traveler only one remaining of three In film his background and motivation for his actions are not properly explained

@-Malik- According to ancient myth, Atlantis was once a powerful and rich island nation, who's leaders were decedents of the gods themselves. Leonidas, trained sparta warrior since birth: misses throwing javelin on a single target Some ancient dude from 10.000 bc: HE IS NOT A GOD
@commandercritic90364 жыл бұрын
Leonidas missed on purpose, his goal wasn’t to kill Xerxes, all that would have done is passed the crown to some other Persian Prince or noble, and then they’d be right back to square one. Leonidas’ goal was to defeat Xerxes mentally, to scar him in a visible way that both the Persian King and his men would see, and be impossible to cover up. And as Gods, supposedly cannot bleed, this scar would rob Xerxes of his supposed divinity. Leonidas broke Xerxes mind, unbalanced him and caused him to start making rash decisions. Xerxes’ humiliation at the hands of Leonidas, did more to fracture the Persian army than any defeat on the field ever could, as over time, Xerxes would have grown more distrustful of his commanders and generals, demanding higher and higher expectations, that were impossible to meet, and then killing what he believed were incompetent commanders. At the same time, all of Greece, would hear about how a Spartan King, standing alone with 300 of Sparta’s best soldiers, bought time, so that their allies could live to fight another day. As a result, all of Greece united against Xerxes, and after the Athenian navy won a CRUSHING victory at the battle of Salamis, the war was as good as won.
