FILM DESCRIPTION:
Richard Linklater directs the romantic drama Before Sunset, a sequel to Before Sunrise (1995). Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Celine (Julie Delpy) were strangers who spent a loquacious night together in Vienna. Nine years later, Jesse has written a book about the encounter. During his accelerated European book tour, he reunites with Celine in Paris. Before Jesse's flight home, he joins Celine for a picturesque walk around Paris peppered with intimate conversation: at first, about the minutiae of their day-to-day lives and their relationships, and then about their lingering feelings for one another. Before Sunset was nominated for the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival.

And I have the actual answer, which is (believe it or not), when he showed up six months later, while he was waiting for Celine, in hopes of good karma, he went over to that place and tried to pay the guy back but the guy didn't work there anymore, so he just left someone else a tip.

Jesse made a few white lies in this movie. The first one is about if he had gone to the station six months after their first meeting. But I don't think he lied about the dreams thing either. If he did, he won't talk about his ideas in his next book like that.

Not a lie, but that was one of those moments where once he told her....he couldn't take it back. It emotionally invested her in a way that was either going to make or break her emotionally. He made that choice. Very real and raw to many moments we all face at least once in our life with someone special. :/
