That actually does make me really proud. I'm a huge fan of the concept that Earth is essentially Space Australia (i.e. a death world) and that humans are considered extremely durable, dangerous, and/or crazy. I like that K makes these little humorous quips but it’s so off the cuff and understated (not in a bad way) that if you’re not paying attention you’d miss it. Like the “3 hour delay at customs after a 17 trillion mile trip” line, he’s just so casual about it

The commitment of Tommy Lee Jones is amazing. He treats absolutely outlandish scifi concepts as serious professional jargon. No "nudge nudge, wink wink", but treats all of it as factual. Love it.
