My one and only close encounter with Spielberg was at the recording session for the movie Poltergeist. I was a studio singer for 60 years and was part of the chorus on that s film, score d brilliantly by Jerry Goldsmith. We had finished with the majority of the work and the women were asked to stay and sound like children for the closing credits, singing the little girl’s theme. Steven came in dressed in jeans and a baseball cap to approve and loved what we did. He came over to thank us and was very affable. A nice memory.

I can dance around a subject with a camera as well as anybody. Am having more trouble finding my "voice", in the material, and what I am trying to SAY WITH the material, as well as entertain. He was almost Cliff Booth in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. I don’t think he and DICaprio would’ve worked well. Both are leading men. It would’ve been like DICaprio and Matt Damon in The Departed. Those two didn’t get along like Vin Diesel and The Rock didn’t get along on Fast and Furious franchise. DICaprio and Brad worked much better.
