Even though this is one of the few episodes like post-season 4 Allison, I will note that the sisters losing their senses does accurately represent them in some way. Paige losing her voice is how the show often ignores her importance comparatively and how she often has no voice when it comes to helping innocents. Piper being blind is a way of saying how she often fails to see the bigger picture of things, like treating more pressing matters as an inconvenience, over her own priorities. And Phoebe losing her hearing is a way of saying she fails to hear anyone around her but herself, as everyone around her is silent except for herself. I won't lie though, I do get laughs out of this episode and do like Paige's singing at the end of it. The Crone was also wasted as a character.

I agree with the video 100%, except for the part about you doubting Paige's powers only activating when she speaks. It's one of the few rules tied to their powers that has been consistent since the beginning. She accidentally discovers her power only after saying "that candle" while holding out her hand -- and she always has to say the object/person she wants to orb ever since. I thought it was a pretty clever way to strip her powers by making her the one to lose her voice (and tying it in with the singing stage-freight so the audience wouldn't immediately put two and two together that she lost her voice so she must be powerless. It kept that twist fresh). I'm playing Devil's Advocate here, but I thought that part was pretty clever, at least. That being said, I wish they'd taken sight away from Phoebe, seeing as how her OG power is "the gift of sight" . But, I get they had to weaken Piper the most, as her powers are the most formidable.

The other day my partner and I were watching Gargoyles on Disney+, and there was some bitchy character called Margo. My partner suddenly made the connection that Margo + Gargoyles = Margoyle, so she asked, "Is she the Margoyle of the episode?" So, yeah, now we pick a Margoyle and Carman in almost every episode of any TV show we watch. For the record, Margo was indeed the Margoyle of that episode. In the next episode my partner picked as her Margoyle some generic goon who seemed to think he was a main character, whereas I went for a stupid jogger who came across Goliath in a park and said, "Huh, I've been jogging this trail for years, and never noticed this statue before." We both agreed that Elisa was the Carman for staying with Goliath all day to protect him in his stone form.

If I recall correctly, the law about not killing Wyatt that The Crone wrote happened in her first episode appearance in the Harry Potter Magical Black Market episode where instead of Diagon Alley, it's just a ren fair. I think it was just a way to explain why the demons don't actively try to kill Wyatt. But everything else done to Wyatt is a-ok.

I always thought it was messed up that the Kazi demons were some of the few depictions of POC in Charmed and the writers chose to have them A) Shirtless all the time B) Unable to read and C) Subservient to a white character (though granted, more to their King, but still)

this episode was a funny one. i do admit that it's just fun to quote when their senses start failing. phoebe: "Oh my god piper you're blind! piper: "I just said. it's like you cant' even hear me." phoebe: "oh piper it's no use. i can't hear you." i did like though that the crone did manage to hit the sense that would affect them the most. paige can't talk so she can't use her telekinetic orbing compared to prue, chris, penny and billie who use it with their eyes or hands. piper being blind she can't use her powers or she risks making things worse or hurting someone. phoebe's probably the least affected being deaf but she still can't hear any dangers coming her way. and paige's boyfriend was a decent enough character in this episode. i think he was only in like 2 or 3 episodes... later episode they say he's married and cheating on his wife with paige. which makes it harder on rewatching this episode as i thought he and paige could have been a good couple. if he wasn't married to someone else.

Coming from a Texan like me, Phoebe's "follow your heart" love advice column isn't exactly pushing any boundaries in the South. If it covered topics like interracial and LGBTQ+ love, perhaps it could raise some eyebrows in the more remote pockets of Texas. But in big cities like Austin or Houston (where she is likely pitching it to), people are more open-minded and support diversity so it'd be fine. Just like anywhere else, Texas is a diverse state, and people's views and openness can differ a lot based on where you are, the city you're in, and the people you're talking to.

Because of how genetics work in this show, Wyatt is born with Piper's evil and Leo's pacifism. He is the mastermind behind all of this. He knows the crone is evil. He knows the Charmed Ones is evil. He knows he is evil. He, as a stupid baby, has to figure out what evil caretaker would help him. Is the crone worthy of taking a chance on? If she is, he has to make her think she earn it so he doesn't give up the advantage of being underestimated. When he realises that she is having a vision of him, she has to go because she knows too much, so he does a murder.

Albeit it has lots of high octane action but it is missing the heart and the integrity of the original series. They didn't even bother to update the original Quantum Leap theme? This would have been a nice little nod to the original. I believe Scott Bakula was offered a role and was shown a script unfortunately he decided to decline. Now I think I know why. Plus it wouldn't be the same without Dean Stockwell. This incarnation seems to going in a different direction. Luckily I have the complete box set of the original series that can binge watch, plus the original soundtrack album. Oh Boy!🤗🍿🍪📼

Well, we have 7 primaries in, wait for it, primary school. Then 4 to 6 years in high school. We did not have a graduation after primary school, we were 11, we had a disco during the day, in the gym hall. At the end of high school we had a grad ball, a leaving night and a graduation, all on different nights. You're also expected to attend at the end of 4th, 5th and 6th years. I did not attend a single event in 6th year, it had lost the appeal. And I was old enough to drink by the last one.
