Dogs are smarter than we give credit for. Once my mother went into a river to swim, it was waist high, but when she made a noise because it was very cold, our Labrador ran from inside and jumped in towards her. He looked panicked. Mom is a cat person and I think this is where she learned to appreciate dogs more. It was the thought that counted

When I was a kid, I grew up deep in the Tennessee mountains. My dad brought home a pitbull puppy when I was like 4-5 and we were inseparable. That dog would have instantly gave his life for me and proved it when we were playing outside. I was picking blackberries and when i went towards one bush, Duke grabbed my shirt and started yanking me away from the bush. Then he lunged head first into the bush and started fighting a rattlesnake. The snake bit Duke's face a couple of times, but he would have done anything to keep me safe. He swelled up for about a week but ende up making it and was fine. My dad had to give him some meds he got from the vet and pretty much hand water him to keep him hydrated, but he made a full recovery. That dog would have absolutely went to war and died for me. Over 3 decades later and I still miss him so bad. Absolutely the best dog I've ever had. One of my jack ass neighbors poisoned him just because he had some feud with my dad. If my dad could have gotten a shred of evidence, he probably would have killed that bastard

That dog deserves all the 'good boys' in the universe

Remember kids. If the actor makes you angry, they’re a great actor.

A wholesome fact of this movie is that the actress who played the mom loves dogs and went to apologize with the dogs for the bad treatment she gave them during the scenes and spoiled them behind the scenes.

When I was about four and a half months pregnant with my daughter I was walking a trail I walked every day with my dogs. My older dog Angel stopped in front of me and blocked me at the trail head. She wouldn't let me by her. When I finally saw around her, there was a cottonmouth curled on the trail. Our farm is 30-40 minutes from the nearest hospital. She's an amazing dog. You don't hear many good things about pit bulls on the news, but she's a true Angel.

“A gross dog.”

I know its a movie, but people like this woman exist. Every child deserves a mom, but not every mom deserves a child.

The dog is smarter than her.

@RedHeadCreep
This is just heartwarming that he knew the dog was trying to save her and it wasn't like those "you tried to hurt her" videos yk what I mean this was great

I love Bailey,Bailey just saved CJ life
@willc3697
She’s definitely the kind of lady who would almost drown in a pool but would sue the lifeguard for giving her mouth-to-mouth CPR
