This movie is completely forgotten now, but if you like Guy Ritchie type of sarcastic, dark-humored thrillers you will have an absolute blast. Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman and Ben Kingsley in addition to Josh Hartnett, all giving terrific performances. Everything ties together nicely at the end for a satisfying conclusion.

I miss this kind of tight writing. One of my favorite movies from this era. Josh Hartnett was underused by Hollywood.

He wasn't so much underused as he was more not interested in a lot of things Hollywood offered him after he shot into the limelight, and good on him for it. In the long run it has been better for his life and mental health.

BREATHTAKINGLY underrated movie. One of the best crime movies of that decade. I can't even say what kind of specific subgenre it is, because it might spoil the ending. But holy shit, this movie. That ending. Just phenomenal.
