I still remember the very visceral feeling I had when I realized Slevin was Henry. That the carefree, smart-mouthed, lighthearted banter of Slevin was a mask for the pure, cold, seething fury of a vengeful son who is in the process of moving heaven and earth to find vengeance for his family.

Can't believe this movie isn't rated as one of the all time greats. It is for me. Perfect cast, engaging plot, surprising ending, and it's difficult to get unique, un clichéd endings which are generally easy to guess. Hats off to the director and the cast.
@613harbinger3162 ай бұрын
The original (or alternate?) ending was even more un-cliched, if you haven't already seen it. Either way this movie left such an impression.

So underrated! Loved it! You also see the difference between the two men in the end. The rabbi accepted his death whereas the boss was still struggling.

This scene was done by the best heavyweights in acting. Yes I'm including Josh Hartnett In that because... I can predict every movies ending. But Josh and his acting had me genuinely in the dark. I thought Bruce Willis was using him to keep em distracted to kill both himself. But... nope

Also it's not very good, acting overall is kinda poor, plot is a mess tbh. But it's still fun, if you havnt seen it it's worth a watch. Though the people claiming it to be the best movie ever made... Ehhhhhh maybe they should watch some more movies 😅

He had his hands in his pocket while he was walking down the stairs. I don't think that was a wise acting choice. It looked unnatural and awkward. Solid movie though. A few more dollars, a better crew, this would have been a legendary movie.
