Yes just like cars and anything else people buy them on payments and
if they fail to make their payments the shed rightfully belongs to the finance company, the buyer signs a contract giving the finance company permission to retrieve their asset if they don't make their payments.
I understand hard times happen to people and that sucks but it all comes down to responsibly,
If you can't pay you can always voluntarily return the shed which many people do.

For u being an Amish boy u sure came a long ways. I still love hearing u talk about how the Amish life is. My wife is Amish but im mennonite an we get along just fine 46 yrs.together I love it living this way. Mama gets a free ride wherever we go an i don't mind it at at all. We live in Colon, Michigan. Just a little BONDO and a can of spray paint. I can only assume the owner signs a waiver of damage on older, used shets prior to locating them to another site. You're blessed with having a great coworker and life partner. Keep the videos coming. Thinking on your feet and problem solving are two useful attributes.

Just a safety suggestion; You should put out orange safety cones when you have your truck and trailer parked on a public road. Also wearing a high visibility orange or green vest would be a good idea. It might save you a law suit and or ingeries. Just a suggestion. Ed Gabbard

I'm going to go out on a limb here and speculate that the (new?) owners had already been aware of the condition of the building. Someone did a lot of attractive improvements to this structure. Wood should never touch Soil! Leaky roofs do not self seal. You would think the new location would have markers as to where it was to go.

Yep, sometimes that ground-contact rated lumber will rot prematurely. Should be a straightforward repair. Great job with the move; enjoyed the video of the drive. Excellent camera work.

Great idea to double check placement. Owner should know exactly where the the sewage tank and leach fields are actually at. The rotten 4x4 is why they need to be blocked up off the ground so that rain splash can't get at the untreated lumber under belly and it can air out..

Be cautious going under that trailer when it is lifted. If hydrualics fail, you could be crushed. My brother was killed by his rock truck trailer.
