🦋🙏. PLEASE HELP ME! 🙏. I’ve lived here in West Hollywood Fl for about a year and a half. The lake is in my backyard have a beautiful bloom (what looks like to me as small birds of paradise) Have doubled in size (height and diameter space) Those are fine and growing strong. I live on a corner, after many the recents violent rains Constant-rains in the last Previous two weeks the GIANT scalloped leaves - Have been eaten down to the-stringy center vein has left my front yard a disaster. My house is full of tropical plants. ( This is the main reason I bought this house) Bc of the Beautiful tropical plants I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE THESE PLANTS. That look like they are going down fast. PLEASE PLEASE 🙏 HELP ME! These Fairly young aged IGANIANA are about a month old and have found their way to mu front yard. At night are eating and destroying my giant leaves. HOW do I get theses iguanas to stop eating my plants without damaging the plants? If you live in Florida and you can travel, I would have you over to check my tropical plants PLEASE and of course pay you for your hour time. They were here when I bought the house a year and 1/2 ago. Now some leaves tall enough but can’t that almost reach the roof. They are SO beautiful and have a annual unusual flower that are trying to bloom each year. I WILL-again - REFUSE - NOT TO GIVE UP ON THESES Beautiful exotic Tropical plants. I live on the corner as mentioned had had a lot of Rains for about two weeks. . But now these leaves are showing roots, there is no longer a mound. I think the soil has been blown away. I am pretty sure it is the IGUANAS eating the plants bc snails or worms would not be taking so much so quick and such a big bites and destroyed THESE so quickly. MY NAME IS JUITH V SHIFRIN MY phone No IS 786 261 918. My address is 2040 NW 74 Ave Hollywood Fl 33024. Right now I will go out and buy some garlic vinegar soap baking soda and other things they have suggested on sites for smaller pests. I will take my hose sprayer and wash plants up and down on top and bottom. I will do what I can until I hear back from you. If you could only see the hard work that I have added to what was already here and how much I appreciate these tropical plants and share my mini bird of paradise with my friends and neighbors. Since I have so much giant scallop leaves in the front of the house going around the corner to the side of the house and is a lot and buy something on the house is this beautiful landscaping please help me save it I care about each and every l thank you. A trick that work for my uncles tortoises gular scutes was to put silicone tape around them. He tried everything and even the foam you talked about and they would just rip them off eventually. But he was desperate because he couldnt separate the tortoises and had to do something. Anyway, there are many silicone bandage type patches that doctors would recommend to patients for scare reductions and other uses. Silicone is hypoallergenic, antibacterial, and promotes cell growth etc. Anyway it gave my uncle the idea to use silicone tape as it comes in rolls, has absolutely no adhesives and actually bonds to itself. So once you wrap it around itself it will bond and become one seal. They couldnt just rip it off, would last until he changed them and was easy to just snip away. Not only that, it was such a thin layer it was almost like it was another skin and they didnt even notice it on. So they didnt even try to get it off.

He is probably about 8-9 inches round. He has been taken good care of, very sweet natured. How old do you think he might be? At what rate do they grow? Thank you for any information.

You could make custom fitted thick, silicone or rubber caps for lumpy's murder weapons. You can make a mould of the scutes that way they can be made to fit on perfectly snug, without him being able to take them off, but without being able to harm the other males

When I was a kid I had a Western Desert Tortoise named George ( at the same time I also had a two tailed northern Alligator lizard also named George and a 4 1/2 ft. Gopher snake named.................GEORGE! I had a thing about the name George thanks to the Bugs Bunny cartoon where the abomininal snowman picks Bugs up and says " I will hug him and squeeze him and call him George") i lived in Santa Cruz Calif. Which has a very Medeteranian almost sub-tropical climate ( theres established populations of parrots and budgies there) so George just wandered around the yard all year for many years! his favororite forage was dandilion leaves. One year he just disapeared, so he either wandered off to the lagoon area that was close by or more likely someone stole him out of my yard. He was quite large for his species and obviously quite old as well in order to have been as large as he was. My dad was a truck driver and found George at a truck stop at some southern Calif. desert town and brought hin home to me, as I was and still am a herp freak love reptiles and amphibians of all kinds!
