I watched someone do this trick on KZbin shorts and he shook it and the holes ended up opening back up on all 4 corners. How did he do that? His youtube channel is seandoesmagic and the video is called (is magic real?! #shorts) he is pretty cringe but I just came across it.

This is genius! Never did this kind of effect. The gimmicks needed always scared me off but this one's great. Will go straight into my repertoire. Thanks for sharing!
@magicdrummer4113 жыл бұрын
I could see a routine where you pinch their signed card in front of them and switch it for the gimmick. And then switch it again at the end. Brilliant
@felipeperez83543 жыл бұрын
The only problem would be that you'll need to "get the hole back in position" before handing them their signed card, which kinda lose the essence of the trick of "moving the hole"
@magicdrummer4113 жыл бұрын
@@felipeperez8354 I'll just end the routine with the final whole in the same position as the final move. That way nothing has to he out back.
@felipeperez83543 жыл бұрын
@@magicdrummer411 of course, that way it'll work perfectly, but handing them the card with the hole moved feels better imo, sad it can't be done
@danoneill823 жыл бұрын
@@felipeperez8354 you could get around it by “multiplying” the number of holes and covering a second hole when they’re signing it and during the routine there ends up with two holes so there’d be a surprise additional hole and memory being somewhat fuzzy they may gloss over the one hole being in same location.

Cavan, a few months ago, around the 10th of february this year, I was visiting London and went to the International Magic Shop. I was looking for a change-box and while I was waiting for the guys to find it, a guy who was there talking to the owners asked me where I was from, then asked for my favourite card. I replied and he produced it immediately from his pocket. I had no idea how that was done and spent around 1 month searching for a method. Finally found it (via a friend of "Charlie the Raven") and a couple weeks later I stumbled upon your channel and realised you look very much like that guy in the Internation Magic Shop did. Any chance it was you? :) Either way, great job you are doing here. Greetings from Bucharest, Romania!
