We always rescue. We currently have 2 kittens that we got at two months old and now they are 8 months. It takes time and patience, but once you have their trust, it's so strong and rewarding. Tripod dogs should only walk in ten minute increments, but can do this several times a day. They can get very tired quickly and have a lot of body aches if they overdo it. Their bodies are much more delicate than a normal four legged dog.

The jumper also feels like she is being held and allows her to feel a little more safe. Had a dog so afraid of thunderstorms and one helped him get through the worst of them.

What I’m about to write may concern some people, but it’s the reality... This little girl belongs to a hunting dog breed. She was probably abandoned because of her age, which is something some hunters here in Portugal do. This breed is Podengo, they are very loyal and intelligent. It’s a good thing she found you.

My daughter took in a stray dog 8 years ago, one day he ran out into the street and was hit by a truck. He survived but lost a leg also. He adapted very well and to this day can outrun any other dog. It takes a while but they can do very well, just keep up your great work!

Bella is just beautiful, and it's so wonderful you have given her this beautiful home to see out her years. A couple of years ago, I adopted a similar looking little rescue dog that was 14 years old at the time, and her name is also Bella. She is doing really well, despite her not having a very good past. Hi I have trained & shown dog's for 50 yrs. I use a martingale collar on my dogs. I never use a harness. On active dogs you have less control of them . Bella is small and older she might do better with just a collar and the leash you are using. She will do well, I'm sure. She is a lucky dog to be with You 2. You have been looking so much better than you've ever looked I'm so pleased because I suffered too with the same thing and my daughter and her 3 girls , but so glad you told you're story because it's letting other females know it's real it's debilitating. One week in a month the pressure on my body stopped you're looking so much better with you're skin too , I'm into my 70s too late suffered pain depression since my early teens so I know how far it takes you into the dark thoughts you gave many the answer to their suffering a big thank you ❤ we all love you ❤

Omg my dog had an absest in the same spot... But after a few days of draing out of the small hole that the dr made the hole closed then over night re filled so the put a small tube in for a week for it to drain an it was a messy job... but with antibiotics it do better... my dog tore both of he acl's at different times and now she scoots around because se won't use her wheelchair...she's a happy dog but I didn't have 5,000 for the surgery I totally would've sold a car to fix it but the dr said that that type of surgery on a 30lb dog usually fails after a year... so we just keep her happy and she was already a lap girl and give her the medication the dr gives her so she's not in pain...she's doing just fine...warning to all Get pet insurance before your pet actually needs it because they won't cover pre existing conditions. I was poor the 8 years ago that I adopted her. She was 30mins from being put down...I do know the argument of dont get a dog if you cant afford them...but she was about to die and I could afford the normal dr stuff just not extreme stuff...Im praying your doggo is ok

one of my fur babies Bella is scared of the wind and loud noises. She really panics and tries to either hide on me or in a corner poor love. I purchased a trauma coat that wraps her fairly tightly and it calms her in no time. I also spray "Adaptil" its a pheromone that mimics their mums scent , My baby girl has been like this for years strangely her sister (twinny) is the complete opposite, nothing fazes her lol. Yes we have a nervous dog and she had to have leg surgery and the cone frightened her that she kept jumping up which she shouldn’t be doing so we got a onesie for her and she was so relaxed in it and we didn’t have to worry about her getting to the stitches and wound. Glad she is building confidence with you 😊

When you are calling the goats and chickens, my girls (cats) think I'm talking to them. Poppy is transfixed at my tv screen watching all the animals and the nature! We need to get a home with outdoor space, they are not meant to be stuck indoors...nor am I!
