We bought a condo about 6 mile north of the bridge at San Pedro. It is probably the most expensive part of the country. Both property and food are quite expensive. Then it has a lot of entertainment and close access to the barrier reef. We love our ocean view. The people are very friendly.

How often does one meet the wildlife? eg crocs. alligator's. BIG snakes.

I live here in rural belize, I'm a local. Often but the animals here prefer their privacy lol. You do see a lot of snakes

Spent a couple weeks roaming around San Ignacio solo couple years back… everyone was so friendly!! Even the local guy trying to sell me weed everyday was super pleasant when I declined. It was awesome

How does the passport or Visa system work. Explain more about money and banking. Can I move my directly deposited social security to a bank I Belize? Also right now I am paying $5 for a gallon of milk. how much would a gallon of milk cost me in Belize . Is everything the equivalent to half off US? And then there is health insurance. And finally can I buy a car there that works for Belize where do I have to import one? 0h. How much is a gallon of gas?
