Stephen, this was such a helpful series! I'm moving soon (Dublin to Toronto), so it was great to see someone in the same boat. Thanks!

Loved these videos! Next could we see a more in depth way for someone who's wanting to move from the U.S. to Canada simply because they want a better quality of life and a fresh start in a new country? My girlfriend and I are seriously looking into moving to Canada in roughly the next 4 or 5 years
@sohigamer1412 жыл бұрын
My suggestion for you is to move to Alberta. Because it is one of if not the most affordable province in Canada and people are very nice as well. The only downside is that the weather is very harsh. If you could bother to learn a bit of French than the province of Quebec could be even better option but otherwise alberta would be fine. I am not saying the rest of Canada is bad. Cities like Toronto and Vancouver can offer you high paying jobs and a more diverse community. There are already a lot of immigrants in these two cities particularly from Asia but the main downside of them is they are expensive (less expensive than new York though). I know you didn't asked for my opinion but still I wanna help you guys out 😜😜. Wish you and your girlfriend the very best in Canada (:

Great Idea Ramtin! It might be a big undertaking! The team have covered a lot about the major cities in each province and there's massive differences of lifestyle within provinces as well! But would be very cool to be able to try and show people the differences!

Do You Think One can Reach Mississauga From Toronto In 1 hr using Public Transport? More specifically if Someone wants To Reach Absolute Towers from Downtown Toronto.

I’m afraid I can’t answer that Sandeep. I’ve only spent a few days in Toronto and less than a hour in Mississauga BUT all I can say is traffic was never ending there. Feel free to join our FB community though as I’m sure someone there could help. facebook.com/groups/Moving2Canada.IEC.Forum/

I got PR through express entry in 2020 May. Thanks to pandemic and slow IRCC I got temp visa stamped in March 2022. Last week I did soft landing and visited Toronto. I didn’t like it very much. It’s aesthetically not pleasing to me. City planners have given no interest in city beautification, poor infrastructure planning - power transmission hub, high rise towers, railway dockyard and stadiums etc. all in one ☝🏻 place never seen this in any city. Can you make a genuine comparison of Vancouver, Calgary, Quebec and Toronto. I’m a software professional with knack for adventure, hiking, travel and dancing. I am looking for LGBTQIA+ friendly city with vibrant city life.
@stephentadgh2 жыл бұрын
Thats tough! I've only spent a few days in Toronto myself but the city is huge, Vancouver or Calgary seems like it might be more of your vibe by the sounds of it, although I can't promise Vancouver has a vibrant night life (if thats what you're looking for). Vancouver is a gorgeous city to walk around with lots of very distinct neighbourhoods. You should check out the other videos on the Moving2Canada KZbin page that Dane has done about the other cities in Canada. kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3SxeIivgbGIm68

In that case, based on everything you mentioned, I'd highly recommend Vancouver. Very friendly, very green, very diverse.
