The investor visa does not require you to live permanently in Colombia. However, in order to avoid losing your migrant visa, you can't leave the country for more than 6 consecutive months; you must come for a few days in between. Additionally, you must fulfill the requirement based on the Colombian Minimum Wage of the year you submit your visa application.
