By the time your little girls are 18- you will be around 35 years old. You will be a completely different person, and although 35 is still young- you may not have the same mindset to want to travel and live somewhere like Hawaii. Do anything and everything you want to do right now. Don’t believe what the world says about when you have children your life is on standstill- live now!

It's so refreshing to see a young mom with a good head on her shoulders. You've been through so much & are shining bright like a diamond girl! I'm also glad to see that you aren't just planning to spit babies out for the "algorithm" like so many other KZbinrs have done/are doing. I got the same feeling of being complete after I had my 2 girls. I'll be 40 in a week & not once have I regretted my decision of not having more children. I'd love to see a furnished house tour. The bits & pieces I've seen in videos is stunning, per usual.

I've raised 3 children and can testify to the fact that potty training happens when the child wants it to happen, not when the parents want it to happen. They are all different. You did a great job! No mom shaming coming from here! Happy 21st birthday! You have packed alot into that short time! You have a lot of insight for one so young. Keep those journals and you will be amazed five years from now! You have so much to share with your daughters. 💞

as someone who grew up in south florida, 10 min from the beach, i’ve heard my ENTIRE LIFE “you live in the most beautiful state, how could you be upset” or “how could you hate it here, it’s paradise!” not even considering the fact that growing up & always being use to the beach and tropical climate makes me want a cold climate near the mountains. i literally can’t wait to finish college, i’m moving up north the minute i can! i love florida but i need to experience something else in life, so i feel you.

Near the mountains in the cold? You’ll be fighting the snow everyday in the winter, have extreme difficulties getting proper medical care, you’ll have to spend money just to be warm, and you will have transportation issues. Good luck

I'm sure you know this having lived there, but the situation is really bad for native Hawaiians right now, especially with COVID, and they're asking people to stop moving to the islands. Highly reccomend CBT therapy groups. A lot are online at the moment, super helpful and supportive. I don't believe they need to be in your area, so life changing!! You're doing awesome!

As a teen mom myself (19) I’m now 20 and I found that if you find ppl close to your age with the same mental process it’s easier to be close to them. I have a group of me and 4 other young moms and we take our kids out together/ have hot mom days. All that good stuff. So finding ppl with the same interests/ people that you feel go well with yourself def go for it. Joining mom groups have also helped! My daughter is 1 btw

You will make the best decision for your family when it's time. I had many different dreams when I was 21 . We constantly grow and change. Especially when we are healthy emotionally. I was a teen mom 2 girls. I thought I was fine with 2 girls and I was!! Until I met my true love and got pregnant at 35 with my son lol I was born and raised in Chicago and love Chicago it's my heart . I traveled in life but always went home to Chicago. At 50 , yes 50 I decided to move to Henderson Nevada with my 15 year old!! You never know what life has in store for you . As long as it's done with love

I def don't enjoy living where I'm to but I'm excelling in my career and hope to purchase a house in the property where I love to live... peace. I was 23 when i had my first and I’m 39 now so i have so many freedoms now my peers don’t because they all have babies now! It’s so nice to have that stage done with and now I can enjoy my adulthood.

Yeah i would never tell anyone to have kids at a young age that’s not what i was getting at. I was established at 23 with a degree and a job and supported myself. You can enjoy your adulthood at any age which i did. 23 and 16 are two very different ages. I love how people on the internet take things and blow them out of proportion. I never once said “be a teenage mother!!” 🤣

There is a few good schools on Oahu. Just need to research the academics, and the area. Peers are definitely a huge influence on education for kids here, being that I grew up here all my life. 😊

Yes yes yes Austin Texas is where I wanna go one day. There are a lot of deaf people there everywhere and Ali want to meet them. It’s something you could be interested in learning ASL to be able to communicate with them. As for Hawaii I did not know you lived there for 10 years. Good to know! I became a young mom myself and it’s true, I became a empty nester in my 30s and I love life. Always stay true to yourself. You are such a great mom! ❤️

You are so right about every kid has their own time. The potty train. My son is a week younger than Delilah and we have the potty out and we’re not forcing him but sometimes he will go on it sometimes he won’t. It’s there if you want it but it’s not being forced and I actually got that advice from someone here on KZbin.

Austin is a great place and area to make friends. Consider a MOPS group, usually run at a church but not churchy. Meet other moms of preschoolers. It IS important to have mom girlfriends to bounce life off of. You are doing amazing as a mom!!!!! ✨

i really glad that i had all my kids young i was in my late 30 and early 40 and now i can go to the moon and back with out any kids and it not that i do not love my kids i love them to the moon and back but right now i can do anything i wont and i do not have to plan it around my kids so i hope you will love your freedom in the years to come
