Yes... nice in so many ways!! And we need your help to keep it this way!! Conservatives fleeing California have made Idaho more conservative!!

My family and I just went a bout a week ago. We’re from San Diego but I have lots of family in Idaho. I was really impressed with how clean it is there. Some people might argue that with less people living there that it’s easier to keep it clean but I think it’s more than that. I get the sense that the people there take pride in where they live. It really shows. Also no graffiti, no homeless, or suspicious characters around like you say. The people there were very nice and down to earth. Great video by the way! Thanks!

This video provided a pretty good feel for Nampa, one of the places I'm considering moving to in Idaho. That Italian Restaurant caught my attention. Thank you, Dave. 👍👍👍👍

Thanks for the feedback, AM! I think that Italian restaurant was one of the first places in the Nampa downtown area that had outside dining. Well, I guess the Flying M coffeehouse did. But now, just down the street and around the corner, there are several places that have dining out on the sidewalk. It's a nice atmosphere... relaxed and enjoying nature!!

@@TreasureValleyDave Enjoying food and drink doesn't need to be foo foo, just nice and relaxing like you said. I also appreciate your comments about the motorcyclist without a helmet. Being free to make your own personal decisions really appeals to me and sounds like heaven. If I were there, I would pinch myself to see if I was dreaming.

Welcome home!! Tons of trade jobs... you just need to start talking with people. I know CBH is always hiring. They are the biggest home builder in the state. Others are hiring too!

Hi, of all the towns in Treasure Valley, which is the most rural still?
@TreasureValleyDave3 жыл бұрын
It kind of depends... Caldwell has a very country feel, especially in the downtown area, but it is big enough to have all the shopping and jobs and schools and easy access to the rest of the Treasure Valley. Emmett has a very rural feel too... not so much a country feel but a rural, agriculture feel. It's also an additional 20 minutes or so from the Treasure Valley. You can go with smaller towns like Parma or Marsing or Payette and you get some of that rural feel too... but they are smaller and you may have to do more driving to get the things that you have to get done. About how big a town were you looking to be in?

@@TreasureValleyDave As you may know, I am in Princeton NJ, looking to retire soon and Idaho is a possibility. I would rather to be a smaller town with a more country feel, but not TOO rural where I have to drive for 45 mins to get to a downtown, shopping, medical, etc. Also, a more conservative leaning area.

@@crimsonpearl4686 You are pretty much describing Caldwell (50,000 people) or Middleton (7,000) people (pretty close to each other). Or maybe a home just slightly out of town. Check out my videos on Middleton and Caldwell... see what you think! Thanks!
