MOVING TO PRAGUE || Story Time: From Florida to Czech Republic

I really enjoyed hearing your story of moving to the Czech Republic! 🇨🇿 Thank you for sharing with us! In 2017, I visited my now husband’s family for three months in Czechia, and I love the food and cold weather! I grew up in Florida and I’m a bit of an A/C addict too. So during the winter in ČR, I would freeze my husband by leaving the window open at night during the winter. The cold air is so lovely! When we went on trips to the mall, my mother in law would always check us before we walked out the door, to make sure we had warm gloves, hats, coats, and scarves. It was so different to have that motherly presence for me, as my mom was a workaholic growing up and not home much. My husbands mom can’t speak English really, so she would use gestures if she thought I needed a hat, or scarf for outside. And if I refused, she would talk frantically in Czech with my husband that I would get sick from the cold. But I was just so excited to have cold weather, compared to Florida’s winter.❄️ I can’t wait for your next video! I hope your weekend is a lovely one!😄

I’m moving to Prague in September for two years to finish school. I’m excited to immerse in the Czech culture but I sure will miss my Dominican/Hispanic comfort foods 😭 thank you so much for this great vid!

I can see that you both really miss America. Living in 7 different countries I have decided to find a home finally and it's sad that it's so hard to to get permanent visa to states because I was honestly happy there. I am in Austria now, and it's alright but not great...

Hello Ari for sure there is! I’m not sure about a Chinese community here but there’s several international communities. For sure you can find a Facebook group of Chinese in Prague :)
