Some good points. but as SN in Libra who is as different from the collective as possibel (in how I think, what I believe, what I value) if I asserted my truth as a kid.....I would haven't survived....but the same is true of me at 37. So whenever i hear the advice of being direct and not caring so much about burning bridges.....I look back at my life and see the very real danger that is to speak the truth. And as someone who has spetn a lot of time with spiritual "conscious" people..........even in such company it becomes a matter of survival. All of this to say - I don't find most of this advice very hlepful.I'd rather hear being a NN in Aries is becoming familiar with conflict....but still know when to use grace and diplomacy. I think most astrologers fail to factor any subtlety in these descriptions because they START from the premise the SN means all this disenpowering stuff.......all the SN Libra descriptions fail to connect with me. (How's this for making the Aries choice? :D Should I have been truthful here, or diplomatic' What results will thia attitude yield in my life...hmmm... :) )

Actually, I think the whole discussion was about the need for balance. As we move from South to North, we keep the best of the South by developing the best of the North. I too have NN in ♈. I have had to learn to be assertive without being confrontational. I have had to accept that not everyone will like me so that I could be free to be myself and realise that those who matter will stand by me and accept my quirks. That is the point of the nodes.

Thanks! I enjoyed your conversation. The SN is conjunct my Neptune. I also have my moon conjunct Vesta in earlier degrees of Libra. Although I appreciate the sentiment of Libra being politely dishonest, (I’ve seen it with sun sign Libras), I don’t have that gene because my Sag Sun, Mercury, NN, Juno wouldn’t stand for it, “foot in mouth of the zodiac.”😂

Oh, the other day I left you in another video (with Wanda) the comment about the meaning of the lunar nodes, and now I understand when you talked about a kind of balance and equilibrium. And really the wisdom of Steven Forrest is so incredible and humble... And well I also wanted to say that there is another video out there by Andrea Michelle Kennedy (also an evolutionary and intuitive astrologer) that talks about this change of the nodes and also puts the emphasis in the conjunction of the asteroid Eris with the north node in Aries, which according to her means the disconnection between the head and the heart. But I believe that Steven, because of his wisdom, speaks with plainer and more intelligible words. Thank you very much.

I have exactly as you describe here: north node in Aries, and Chiron conjunct my north node (as well as Venus). All in Aries. And I’ve had three marriages, and a huge amount of growth. Steven is absolutely right in saying you will meet these people that you had libran unresolved karmic relationships with. Steven had read my chart, and it helped me tremendously to understand what I was doing with my south lunar node in Libra, and gave me permissions to exercise Aries in a healthy way. I sought out this video because I was feeling some libran/Aries issues arise that surprised me, and then discovered that its the time of my lunar node return. 😅❤

Thank you Ana and Steven. Phenomenal conversation and so helpful to me having my north node in Aries and south node in Libra and move through all you describe. I remember thinking that I'd rather die than live like this just before I was diagnosed with cancer in 2016. I'm feeling a great internal shift. Today as I dropped my elderly mother to the hospital, for the first time in life I felt that I can and will survive whenever the time comes for her to pass. That is major progress. "I am whole and complete in myself" as Steven said. 🙏

I was pleasantly surprised to hear discussion of one of the key facets of my own '68-'69 birth cohort. It was quite a line-up back in 1968-69, that's for sure! In addition to Chiron and the North Node, Saturn was also in Aries. For me, the time between my Nodal and Saturn Returns will mean a cross country move, although where to is not yet decided. (I should add that, in my case, The North Node landed right on my Ascendant with Saturn opposing my Libra Moon which, in turn, conjoins my Libra South Node and Descendant. Add in a square to the Nodes and AC/DC from Sun-Venus-Mars and my IC/MC and you get the picture.) After moving every year or so while I was growing up, I settled in the town where I attended college for what is nearly forty years. Since my Chiron Return, I have increasingly felt a need to break free of the bonds forged over the decades and I have done so with several decades-long friendships that fit the LIbra SN model both of you described. This fall, I am taking the first steps toward an even greater uprooting, finding and moving cross country to somewhere where I have no past, no attachments beyond those I decide to bring with me, literally and metaphorically. I find the whole prospect of letting go of the people, places, and things that have been such a part of my life more than a little overwhelming and frightening. I jotted down Stephen's advice to do the thing that scares me the most for future reference. I am sure I will need it!

This will be a nodal reversal for me. I also have my natal sun/Venus in Aries with my natal south node. I appreciated the talk about the fear of rejection in Libra as this does seem to be the thing I’m working out now, with the awareness of reaffirming my own strength and worthiness in myself, so an Aries sort of focus. I am noticing this even though the nodes are currently still in Taurus and Scorpio (it’s probably important to note that the south node recently passed over my natal moon, my chart ruler, in Scorpio, so that could be hinting at it). If I’m feeling this already, it should be interesting once the nodes actually move into Aries and Libra. I also appreciate that you brought up Chiron because it made me look to see when the north node and Chiron conjunction will occur (2/19/24) which will occur exactly on my natal Venus (24 Aries 45) which is very interesting. Thank you for this video. It really helped with my contemplation of this transit.
