Ford anglia looks best on the 2nd wall (over the kitchen counter) and the 3rd wall (the one over the large white thing). If I had to pick though #3

i think its too small for place #3 ? it looks out of balance there with the big radiator under it. You have the same for place #1, but thats just a minimalistic style choice. i really like spot #2 because it being next to the windows creates this. magical - nonmagical window contrast thing. as sort of an platform 93/4 or window 93/4 if u will.

also. the way she's holding it is typically too high for paintings. if u were to put it lower (the appropriate height) it would look odd being so close to the radiator.

Yes, I also think it looked great on the wall next to the bar. And yes, this temporary frame doesn't do it justice, it's gonna look loads better with one of those white interspaces that go between the print and the frame, I think it will bring out the print a lot better.

cherry... first of all congrats cause having a whole house to do is a little bit overwhelming. I would like to tell you to consider to turn the bed in one of the two long walls, being able to turn around will elevate the room for sure... it is narrow, so putting the furniture in the same way will make it even more narrow. I say it cause you will have another room for the office, so you can put the desk under the window to get even more light for your make up. I didn't mean to be rude, if you like the room as it is there is no problem, it is just that I am an architect and I wanted to give a tip. Much love

You have done so much. IKEA is a blessing and a curse! I’ve put together so much of their shelving, when I was much younger. I never want to see another barrel bolt! (You called it a screw locker) Have fun. The first time I moved into a house with a roommate, we had blow-up furniture. It was the mid 70s. We has a sofa and an arm chair.

Hi Cherry! I love you videos and to remove the sticker residue from the glass case use a little coconut oil leave overnight. After with some warm water, a microfiber wash cloth and a little Dawn dish soap on it rub gently will come right off and wipe clean with microfiber cloth. It's more nature, chemical free and won't cloud the glass. The flying car picture will look awesome between the two windows above the counter in the kitchen giving the illusion of a third window and the Diagon Alley word frame over the fireplace to represent the scene where the Weasleys and Harry traveled through to get to DA! Love you videos and I look forward to more vlogs of you decorating your new home! 😄

Love that you're just winging the washing. I was the same when I moved out. My best investment was a similar drying rack to hang items outside to dry. The clothing smells so fresh when it dries outside!

Are dryers not common in the UK? I don't seem to see many people there mention them (if laundry ever comes up in conversation lol) and the few airbnb's I've stayed in when I visited only had a washer. I can't imagine having to wait hours for my clothes to dry what if you need something sooner what if you run out of rack space doesn't the floor get all wet I'm stressing myself out agghhhhh 😫

The Ford Anglia should go on the wall leading to outside since the picture is showing a similar scene so it’s similar to looking out the window and having the scene continue on, if that makes sense! The flanking windows really helps tie the photo into the space and look more than a photo but an actual scene! Also congrats on the soon-to-be-magical house Cherry!

Between the sliding door and kitchen window I think would look the best, on laundry separate like fabrics and colors for best results. Good luck and great job. Oh I would put the white frames in your office just like before for a bit of continuity from your former set up keeping it nostalgic

Haha we have very similar Ikea tastes! I have the same desk as you and a couple of things from the Hemnes range too! 😍 The only thing I would advise you on is your washing; separate the lights (whites, baby blues, etc.) and colours (black, navy, dark greys etc.), to prevent colour transfer otherwise your whites will lose their crispness (and all you need is one bright red sock for things to turn pink). What the items are doesn't matter, it's the materials that they're made out of that does (e.g. careful with silk and wool because they need lower temperatures than say cotton). Your house is looking good, good luck on the rest Cherry! 💪☺️

I think you should put the flying ford picture above the countertop facing outside between the window and double doors. Since the radiator wall or the first wall you showed has a larger surface area, I think the picture would look too small on those walls.

Since you've just moved out, that would be super interesting for you if you watched a little about feng shui, just the basic stuff (like the best position for your bed and desk...etc. ) the basics are easy once you've quickly calculated your Kua number, you just have to look at a chart to know which direction are nice for you and which aren't at all and do things your best way for your job and health and creativity...etc :) (and that's also fun to know :D) I love your house!

I vote the Ford Anglia print to be on the wall between the window and door (option #3). I think it looks better there because of the space. The other spaces were too big or too small.

Speaking as a former IKEA employee (really!) -- you done good! The very first piece of furniture I built -- to go on display in the store, no less -- had to be partially disassembled twice during the build because I & my "expert" partner put parts on backwards. The resulting bench was on the display floor slightly less than two weeks before coming apart. I also remember how we (staff) would squabble among ourselves over who got the 12V electric drill vs. who got the 18V electric drill... I also want to thank you for the first relatively long sponsorship commercial message that was actually *fun* to watch! And here's another difference between the left & right sides of The Pond -- you said, "I'm so unfit" while I say, "I'm out of shape!" LOL (Of course, it's a valid argument to say that spherical *is* a shape... ) I also have to admit that as soon as you said, "...washing with Wallis," I pictured Wallace and Grommit... Sorry... (not)

Definitely put the print between the two windows, that way it looks like you're looking out and see the flying car! Also, I found the multitude of angles whilst you were building to be very amusing. I do enjoy that you have Camerman Chris to follow you around for certain shots (especially when you're traveling about the house or are doing tours) but that you also still film yourself sometimes. Here's a couple of ideas for your bedroom just to give it a bit more of a "Griffindor" feel you can add a red cushions to your bed and also a red cushion on your clear makeup chair also another thing you can do too for your bedroom is to put a Flag Banner of Griffindor on either the inside or outside of your bedroom door. Even though you may not have much of a greenthumb you should put a small lavender plant outside the front yard it'll bring goodluck to you and to the people at the house :)
