Yep, I would say it's at least 3 times faster than the old 42" craftsman my parents had mowing the same spot. They have a 46" Husqvarna box store zero turn now and it's at least twice as fast as it, and way more comfortable, and of course should last many many years longer since these are designed to run 2,000-3,000 hrs where the little residential units may only be designed to run 200-300 hrs...

Dang bro you and your family got a lot of land! I live up in eastern KY in the mountains, hardly any flat land here, nothing like what you got. Do you get alot of hurricane damage your way? Or are you more in the north of LA? I've only been to New Orleans, never been out in the country of LA much

I wouldn't call a few acres in the country a lot of land. No mountains in La. Don't get frequent hurricane damage unless you live right close to the water.

Ferris will never be the mower the John deere is. My neighbor has a commercial ferris and it stays tore up a lot.

@@robertlovelace82 both are good in different areas the ferris will stripe better but the deere will will cut thicker field grass better it gets it out the deck quicker deeper capacity deck

@@robertlovelace82 it really matters what grass and how often you mow if fertilizer yard 5 to 8 days I would give it to the ferris so better finish mower but I do use the deere more
