This is the perfect Miami Vice episode. The way it balances both action and tragedy is great, I think about it often. Season 3 onwards really could have used a lesson from "Milk Run".

Great episode -- but Eddie's stunt double looked nothing like Eddie. Pretty hilarious, actually. You can see the dude's protective glasses and everything.

Hé oui sacré sonny toujour aussi impulsif et efficace et aussi un détective exceptionnel.. lui et ricardo tubbs forment un duos mythique inséparable.. I loved it when Sonny dropped his loaded hot dog in the back of Sloane's car. And, despite his heavy smoking, Crockett could still run. And Tubbs was gonna sit on the floor with Crockett as long as Crockett needed him to sit

A sad, sad ending to an all to true event, that continues to happen to those who think they can get rich quick. Miami Vice's approach was to show how those who go into the drugs trade also end up as victims.

Emotional rollercoaster also. The two men were almost safe but Eddie still fell victim. It wouldn't be so depressing if one (or both) of them died earlier in the episode after the deal was complete.
