Well, in Gen 8 there were three, in Zacian-Crowned, Calyrex-Shadow and Calyrex-Ice. Calyrex-Ice being the best TR restricted in the game because it is the only restricted that has a base speed stat comparable to the non restricted TR sweepers. Hell, before it the premier TR restricted were Groundon and Kyogre (with 90 base speed) and Lunala (with 97 base speed). And then Gen 9 came around, Zacian got nerfed into the ground, Zamazenta gained Body Press and took over its sibling's slot.

@@ParkyMarz The reason Basculegion and Houndstone are "not broken at all" is because "last respects" is banned. what they can do with that banned move is what makes them broken. The ability to freely fire off a 200bp move in the mid game, much less a 300bp move in the end game, with stab on top, is absolutely busted on pokemon with usable speed/attack stats, and both Basculegion and Houndstone can out speed a lot of pokemon with jolly+scarf. Gholdengo has phenomenal typing, a crazy ability, an excellent movepool (t-wave, n-plot, recover, gleam, etc.), spammable stab moves, and the unprecedented ability to block every hazard clearing move with one teamslot. It and Kingambit are still in OU solely because Tusk and some other OU mon are able to keep them in check.

@@ParkyMarz basically, when you tera into a type, any move of that type below 60bp gets boosted up to that. multi hit or priority moves don't get it thankfully, but lets say you're a munkidori gamer you could run mud slap and if you tera ground it'll be 60bp. it's very niche because these moves are so weak you wouldn't use them usually, but if you want to be less tera reliant then if you have a 40-50 bp move you can use it instead of tera blast. and if that move happens to have a broken secondary effect like nuzzle or draining kiss, it's a win win

Comfee takes advantage of Tera Fairy + Draining Kiss as well since it's technically the ability that raises its priority so it still gets the boost, and Tera Grass Rillaboom's Grassy Glide is bumped from 55 to 60 power since it was nerfed under 60 this gen
