I was waiting for the Asetek La forte bundle to be on offer, the base is instantly out of stock. Nice. Alt least Moza seems to have things to sell.

Of particular interest if you've not found an ecosystem or are looking to switch, SimMagic has a sale as well. the Alpha is on sale for $10 USD less than the R16. Many folks say the peak torque is higher than the Moza and the FFB quality is noticeably better. Me, I'm stuck for want of Xbox compatibility, but if you're not definitely worth a look

At the top end the FFB is not noticeably better. I have a Moza 21 V2 and setup properly there is very little difference in the FFB between that and the Ultimate (have used it multiple times). The only thing to say is the SM is a bit smoother, which isn't necessarily a good thing to all.

@ the Mini is a better base than the R9 though. I previously had the R9. R16 and R21 are different animals though.

Reminder for racing sim fans. With black friday around the corner, if you see any fanatec deals that actually look good, they're probably pricing mistakes, that will get you accused of shopping in bad faith, and your order cancelled after a couple months.

@@jamesdriver8148 same to me, spend a year to figure all the stuff out.. was also focussed on the moza... but at the end with all the reviews , simagic base is the best choice, there eco is not the cheapest but very high premium quality.. sim-motion has great deals now!
