Does it act all weird when we use the gimbal upside down.. For example, when taking ground level shots, we might have to hold the gimbal upside down. Does it support this?

It didn't work upside down. There is a newer app and firmware for it nowadays that add more functions and automated stuff such as "inception", but I no longer have this.

If you lightly and slowly move it, it will move slowly accordingly. And vice versa

The osmo mobile has a super smooth speed control. This one gets on my nerves with this issue

Xiaomi Mi8, it supports 4K@60fps both in h.264 and h.265.

I think that the phone will fit, you need to check the app if it's compatible with you iOS version.

I don't know, I can say that it is not compatible with Mi8 because of Moza software.

Nice review.. Is the object tracking mode good to follow an rc crawler?

Yes tracking works ok but the software is highly incompatible with a lot of phones, for instance my Xiaomi Mi8 that can film in 4K@60fps is limited in tracking mode to just 1080p! For this reason the BlitzWolf gimbal is far better as it work in 4K, you can check my review also on my channel for that model.

The hardware is good and still works but Moza has very bad support when it comes to the app, they don't support properly a lot of phones so you don't get needed resolution and frame rate and you get stuck to just several standard ones like 1080p while you have phones supporting 4K@60fps. I advise you to get something else.

Your battery might be faulty, i haven't had this problem with my gimbal. Try to contact moza

How To Use Portrait Mode ?

Although I've used this gimbal a lot of times I never have used portrait mode as it's no use to me. It either flips from the support or has a option in the menu.

You flip the phone área to portrait . Just make sure you are rotating to the right side
