@chepilevski10 ай бұрын
At what overall strength you use it buddy? They all feel heavy in long corners when load the grip of the tires and and relax when losing the grip which is how FFB must work to give us the information what’s going on! With real slicks that’s similar but but in real cars the wheel doesn’t work like FFB at all and we take the information from the body forces. I usually tune down the overall force to not fight the FFB which letting me have my hands more loose and feel more easily the effects of the FFB and react! I can suggest you to try for few days lower FFB gain till you get used to it without fighting with the wheel and see how you feel after a week! It may feel strange in the beginning but ones your muscles get used to the new forces and relax you must start feeling way better what’s going on with the car or at least that’s how works for me 🤛

Hello, Do you have an answer from the moza technicians? R21 V1 vs R16 v2? Eventually i can grab a v1 (r16 or r21) for a very good price - then i would ask me if the v1 Version become the new firmware from Moza for the "NextGen Force 2.0"... Or is it the hardware of the v2 bases? Have anyone an info about that? Thanks for your VIDEOS! Ich glaube Du lebst in Deutschland: Deine Videos sind der Hammer! 👍 Vielen Dank dafür! best regards

The upgraded R16 DD base has the following improvements: 1. Upgraded electronic architecture on the PCBA circuit board for enhanced computational power and stability. 2. Implemented NextGen2.0 FFB filtering algorithm for advanced feedback control and zero latency. ( read more in the article below) 3. Utilized carbon fiber wrapped rotor ( read more in the article below) 4. Improved stability by transitioning from wireless communication to conductive slip ring connection and communication. mozaracing.com/news/mozas-innovations-in-direct-drive-and-vehicle-suspension-technology

Hi buddy That’s the answer I’ve got and to be honest it doesn’t makes things much clearer but I guess they can’t achieve that with the V1 series 🙈

Thanks for your answer! What i read in the article: Proprietary NexGen Force Feedback Firmware... ....Accessible across all MOZA bases through convenient firmware updates, this innovation eliminates the need for hardware replacement. Mh..... I think Point 1 and 4 are Hardware improvements. Point 2 and 3 are accessable in the V1 Versions. Now i have an Open Ticket @ moza Support: ".... And now i want do know If the V1 Bases Missing this Feature? Is it a "newest Firmware" Feature or ist it a mechanical Advantage from the Motor in the V2 Bases? Is there any Motor differrences from the V1 to the V2 Bases?..." I will See what their answer is.... best regards

@@Ehrenwerter let me know what they will say buddy as I’m very interested to understand what’s going on !

Here ist the answer from moza Support: ..."The difference between V1 and V2 is that V1 is a wireless connection and V2 is a wireless and wired connection. "NextGen Force 2.0" is the force feedback, which both V1 and V2 have."... 😀

R16 is better than simucube pro?
@chepilevski10 ай бұрын
Ah no buddy, Simucube pro is better for other reasons but in terms of FFB quality they feel very close to me in low forces! Simucube is proved brand and have stand the test of time and I can put my head for it 😁 Moza are still new and I like a lot how much they close the gap in terms of feeling but they have to prove the rigidity of there products.

So my v1 is worth swapping for v2 😢

I don’t think the differences are that huge for that change buddy and hopefully some firmware can close the gap

You like everything what pays you. It's hard to trust your opinion because you are excited about everything. We all know that moza is far far away from sc pro or sm ultimate

Simucube is great and better in quality, materials used and software evolution and that’s not a question at all. It also cost way more than Moza and Simagic. That being said, in this case the FFB is subjective thing and depends what everyone wants to get from it. I’m personally fine with Simucube,Moza and Simagic and they can give me exactly what I need to feel the car and have blast on the track😃 If you trust my opinion or not is absolutely your choice and that’s how must be. All I try to do is just give another option and try to stay away from giving subjective opinions but in case like this when I do, I always explain it first. To not blindly trust my subjective opinions is something I expect from everyone when we talk about personal experiences and that’s how it should be. For me is exiting to see some companies like Moza and Simagic and few others close the gap to the top of the market names like Simucube which I love a lot for way lower cost. Have a great Sunday buddy 🍻

Gotta say again man your post production is sublime! Got that pesky mic fixed for good too. Its def the hardest part ❤ Question: Do you think software/firmware plays an important role in a wheel base's performance/ dynamic ability? The sim will provide whatever telemetry it is allowed so how much does the wheels software interfere with that signal? Cheers bruz u the best 👌

Thx for the kind words buddy 🤛 I’m sure firmware updates makes big changes in FFB performance as I have seen that with Simucube, Fanatec, Camus and Simagic and I believe that is happening here with the Moza now. I hope to get clear answer from Moza about the hardware as they don’t specify any hardware changes of the motor or electronics.

@@chepilevski yeah an in depth review on firmware software would help many to understand the terminology and functionality. Help with our overall experience. Cheers mate have a great week 👍
