MP Rotator Series: How to Adjust Hunter's MP Rotator

I have used these on my lawn rather than sprays and love them. 12' x 24' rectangle of turf. I tried RB U series nozzles and it just wasn't cutting it. I replaced them with the MP Rotators and what a diference it made. Precise water and works better in the wind too.

I have the same nozzels, but I have the opposite problem to Rob, I can adjust the radius, but the arc doesn't change.

You can adjust the MP Rotator radius or distance thrown up to 25% by turning the small screw in the center of the nozzle. www.hunterindustries.com/mp-smarter-faster-better

is there a way to complete turn the rotators off. I want certain section from the rotators to stop watering without having to move the rotators on my lawn. Is that possible ?

The MP Rotator does not have the ability to be completely turned off. You have two simple options to eliminate a spray head with an MP Rotator. I have a runaway nozzle. It rotates very fast unless I hold it with a finger. I've had these intalled for two summers and it worked fine until this spring. The filter is clean. Suggestions?

Do you have to use the tool to adjust it? Because I did mine with some pliers and a screwdriver.

I have three of the MP Rotator (90--210) nozzles and cannot get the arc down to 90 degrees; I even sent one back thinking it was defective...but now realize its all of them. Anyone else have these issues??

The MP1000 rotators I just bought do not have the right line for the left edge. This is annoying for initial set up.

I’ve noticed the same thing. However, there is a flat side near the bottom where the nozzle threads onto the pop up. Works perfectly to line it up.

I don’t understand the math. The 2000 goes from radius of 13-21 feet. But 21 - 25% = 15.75 feet. Am I missing something?

The reduction radius of 25% is approximation adjustment. Its not an exact science. What radius of distance do you need to achieve your irrigation design for head coverage? Thank you again for contacting Hunter Technical Support. Please let us know if we can offer any other assistance.

You need to say that when adjusting the radius screw with the tool, hold the nozzell steady with the other hand. Otherwise, it just turns.

Hi Hunter Industries, I have a handful of 90-210 degree 3000 (blue) nozzles that won't let me adjust their radius. I turn the screw clockwise with the tool (like in this video) and the radius does not decrease; it remains at the maximum distance. Some in the same zone adjust just fine, while others don't. Any tips for me? Thanks.
