MP told off for saying government were 'pished' during lockdown

SNP MP Mhairi Black was scolded by the deputy speaker in the House of Commons on Tuesday afternoon (16 May) for referring to the government as being "pushed."
As she accused the Tories of being "dangerous" and making "bad decisions on top of a global pandemic," the MP for Paisley and Renfrewshire South referred to the government as being "pished half the time at parties in Number 10."
"I should just say to the honourable lady, she really must not use language like that," Dame Rosie Winterton said.

There's nothing wrong with "pished"; it does not have the same crude connotations as "pissed". Far worse has been said by MPs on the other side of the House - phrases with both sexist and racist connotations.

The MPs knew they were pished and didn't object or they're not present because they're too busy getting pished. Amazing how the speaker gets hung up on a Scottish colloquialism when those lockdown criminals can't even answer a straight question on covid parties nor the WhatsApp VIP funding route.
