HELP! I loaded some music onto it, but then when I opened the music app, I didn't get any of the tabs you're supposed to get, so the thing is useless. Why am I not getting the main window of the music app and how DO I get it? I just get a screen with an image of a t-shirt with the caption "added custom theme funtion (yes, that's how it's spelled), Free to choose, A Classic reappeared".

How does it work for audiobooks? If I were playing an mp3, would it automatically remember my position on the track? What is file management like, can you use folders or is it limited to the scanning?

While it is limited to the pre installed apps, I found no way to install apps manually or get google play store to work, the pre installed apps are decent, with visually pleasing gui and intuitive design. It is easy to create playists and will save position of audio files even ater hard reboot.

The music file transfer process is a nightmare. The OpenMTP program is willy-nilly. I was finally able to download music from my MacBook Pro, but it was problematic. Want to create a favorites file or even delete a file? Good luck. I'm returning it.

I own two phones. One is the Samsung phone which is my main phone I use both inside and outside, while the other is the budget friendly Moto G. I keep the Moto G around the house. It can make Wi-Fi calls, play music, videos, flashlight, emergency calls and pictures.

I think I would like this MP3 player, except....I purchased this from Amazon and it arrived today. With the death of my iPod Classic, I was searching for an easy-to-use source for some of my music - to transfer some downloads on my MacBook to this MP3 device. I must be an idiot, but I have NO idea how to do that. I've read all the manual instructions but it's written for someone who is very experienced with Androids. I downloaded the openmtp app onto my computer that is supposed to be necessary for transferring from a Mac computer - but it's completely out of my pay grade to figure out what to do next. Really bummed. Spotify works fine. That's all the music I can use it for. Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks.

You could try just dumping mp3 files straight into the microSD card first.

Exactly the issue with these MP3 players. Loading up your songs on that card. And when you finally do, good luck with arranging the songs in the order you wish !!! Then most of these players are not to apple friendly!! Really sucks!! Been there…🤯🤯🤯

I bought one of these yesterday, and sent it back today. The headphone amp is absolute garbage, and I notice that you only spent a few seconds with it connected to a speaker, and with it at full volume. The player cannot drive a decent set of cans, and if you use a set of low impedance IEMs or earbuds, the noise that comes from it is unbearable. Even with the player at full volume, I can still hear what's going on around me, and that's not good enough. At least you used the 3.5mm connection though, however briefly and dishonestly. Pretty much every other paid for review skips that bit because they've either been given a script, or they know that if they were honest, nobody would buy it.

Perhaps the iPhone is interfering with the connection? Try 'forgetting' the device in all connected products and ONLY connect to this player. It's a dumb player so it needs more babying probably.

@@jgjg3848 From what I understand, you can't copy files off of an iPod to your computer. iTunes will only allow you to load and manage music on your player.
